RealityCheck
I'm exactly like that. No settling for me, including the fine dining and wine. The man I'm dating currently even orders my dinner to my taste. He's such a throwback in that he has all the old-world courtesies of holding doors open, car doors, stands up when a lady enters the room, etc. and yet is respectful of me as a businesswoman and person. He's a darling. As long as your happy TBF. We all have different needs. I choose the connection on all levels. That is balanced in mind, body and soul. Doesn't really matter to me if the Man holds the door open for me or not! I can be just as humble to open the door for him as long as he is worthy of everything I deserve. I do not settle for anything, less than everything!
Trialbyfire
If I could only be as sexy as Lizzie. But then again, maybe I will be when I'm her age. Who knows? Only time will tell. We both have a ways to go before getting there. Wait until you see my mother and aunts. They're in their early sixties and they still get looks galore. Just gorgeous. Weird but true. Are you smoking?

Lizzie, with all due respect, I wouldn't know what to do with a body like yours, so it's better for all of us if I stay the way I am. I'm perfectly happy with the way I look even if I will never reach as high on the sexy meter as you, I'm just fine where I am. As far as smoking, never have, never will. Yamaha
Are you saying that older women has to look like cheap strippers to attract younger men... man... you need to go out more... I don't think I implied your a cheap stripper but I did suggest that a man looks at a women with lust that he finds sexy. To invoke a lusty response you must be dressing/acting in such a way to get a rise in their Levi's ( as I don't know of any matronly women that a man finds sexy).

Oh ..good for you... smoking is lethal! You see, the timing for this body 'reshaping' was good for me... I quit in 1993... took me 2 years to lose the excess weight and get back in shape... I was a 34C... gained most of my weight in my boobs... (38DD)....then lost all my weight everywhere except my boobs... then I got men flocking, something that was sooooo new to me and totally amazing... I left my first ex in 1996... one year later met my second ex... left him in 2001... then I began my sex rampage... So, in my case, I knew what to do with my body... it has served me good. Can't complain... love every second of my life... wouldn't change a thing. To each their own I suppose. I have raised my kids... been a wife and a mother most of my life... now it's ALL ABOUT ME!!!! oOOH... and I will be a grand-maman in November... yooohooooo

Should the day arrive that I do find that "special" someone to compliment my life, I KNOW I will not be here. It's not so much the friendships on LS since the ones I feel are friends, I have other contact with. It's that LS is a community where if you take from it, you should also try to give to it. If that means spending time on here, so be it. It most certainly doesn't detract from real life relationships. I like to take my time with men. None of this full-bore plunging into an all-out relationship without getting to know them. We chat during the week and get together on the weekend. This is my choice, not his. Consider me cautious. You are very upbeat.

Yamaha
Many women love the power they have over men and you have found that power later in your life. If you are a 38DD then that explains why men ( that like big boobs ) would find you sexy. It is unusual that you lost weight but your breasts increased in size. Normally women that lose weight also lose bust size. That is why the breast augmentation is so popular.

burning 4 revenge
I agree. I prefer a man who knows his way around a wine menu, when we fine dine. Beer, burping and cheating for the boy referenced in this thread. Good beer tastes better than good wine. Is that unsophisticated? If you think so, just remember that Germany took France in six weeks
