Mahatma
There is a girl I've just met and, from a first impression, I wouldn't mind getting to know her. There is no time to really get to know her where I met her, so I want to get her number or meet her somewhere sometime, but I fear it would be weird or something to just do that. How should I approach this? Thanks.
Trialbyfire
Mahatma, you might want to provide a little more detail about your situation. It's difficult to provide advice without knowing the circumstances that make you hesitate or consider it weird.
Author Mahatma
Well, there is not much more to add. Where we met, there is no chance to actually talk so I would like to talk to her elsewhere but not sure how to go about that. Should I just walk up and ask her for her number or ask if she'd like to meet somewhere, or what?
My2Cents2
Just walk up to her and smile and tell her you were wondering if she would have drinks or lunch or coffee (or whatever it is you want to offer her) with you sometime. If she says yes then have a day in mind and ask her, "How about Thursday?" Whatever day works for the two of you, suggest a time. The end. Or the beginning (hopefully).
