dj09
There must be various subjects or posts on this topic but is there any good indication of interest by making eye contact. I read some article in a magazine. This seems to be vague but is it possible just by looking or making eye contact. He / She could be interested in you. For example it says that if you stare at a person too long this is generally regarded as bieng too aggressive towards that person. What if she smiles at you and then stares at you is she trying to be aggressive.
Tony T
Eye contact is important in any conversation. It shows interest in what is being said and a desire to show sincerity. Eye contact between opposite sexes as well as same sexes is a good thing. While eye contact between male and female is a good thing, it's not necessarily an indication of great interest. It shows that one or both people have the desire to communicate on other than a verbal level. People who attempt to make eye contact during conversation show a healthy level of class by doing so. I think if a person who is standing or sitting away from you in a club or some other place makes eye contact more than once, there is a definite interest in perhaps getting to know you better. Eye contact is very important in human communication and can mean so many things. It's important not to read more or less into any particular experience. I'm sure that there are situations where a couple can make eye contact, eventually fall in love and get married...while another couple could end up doing the same and never see each other again.
