johan
...I don't want a beautiful lake in my house... I must say that I agree with this. It's pretty much what I was trying to say. No lakes in the house.

underpants
Who's "Cinderellar"? Maybe she is CinderellAAaaarrrrrr!!! I agree though. I don't want a lake in my house either. Especially if my SO is going to be looking at his reflection in it all of the time.

This_Too_Shall_Pass
The girl came out of cinder? oops, my hometown produce coals, this isn't good.... She didn't come out of cinder, she was made to do housework all day, and always had cinder on her (from the fireplace). Hence the name. And, it's Cinderella, without the "r". woodsfield
Maybe she is CinderellAAaaarrrrrr!!! this pirate shat has been trippin me out all DAY. it does seem so shallow to want to sleep with someone for their looks. sounds cheesy, but beauty is more than skin deep, but as someone else said, i like big butts. plus size models are much hotter....a little more to grab onto...yARRRR!
This_Too_Shall_Pass
I think that "most men would love to sleep with a model" is just another stereotypical idea. Sure, everyone likes to look at a beautiful woman (or man). But that's just eye-candy. Most men would prefer a regular girl over a model. Too much beauty is intimidating, not many men can handle that. Besides, most models have little else going on in their lives except looking beautiful....which gets boring, after a while. Woggle
Most model types are complete nightmares to be in a relationship with. They have the looks but what else do they have besides that? Many of them have magazine racks full of issues. If I just wanted looks I would get a statue of a beautiful woman and some lotion but if I want to actually connect with a human being I need more than just the physical. halfarock
Give me a pot belly and a brain... Except that among intellectuals, you don't see a lot of pot bellies.
halfarock
Why is it, I wonder, that makes so many people think that a good looking person is just into their looks and can’t be intelligent or otherwise interesting? Sounds like sour grapes to me. I dated one model who had done modeling since she was a baby, her mother also having been a model, and later an actress. Most of her money came from investments made with the money she got from modeling. I picked her to be my girlfriend, in part, because whenever she wrote notes to me; she never confused there, their, and they’re. Nor did she ever confuse where, wear, we’re, and were. You’d be surprised how many people who are not beautiful confuse these words.

Trialbyfire
Why is it, I wonder, that makes so many people think that a good looking person is just into their looks and can’t be intelligent or otherwise interesting? Sounds like sour grapes to me. That's not an accurate statement. The assumption is that models aren't as intelligent or interesting. Modelling is a tough business so you have to be at the top of your game or you don't get the jobs. The two male models I dated were focused and did get some jobs. Too bad it detracted from their focus on other aspects of their lives, like improving their personalities, intellect, etc.

You picked her? Aside from her semantic skills why did you ..'pick' her? As I stated previously I can't speak for all models. I am sure there are a few that do not fit the sterotype. Care to present some examples of wash board intellectuals? Curious....no sour grapes.
Darkzen
Is there any guy out there who would not have sex with a model type woman? You know – slim, firm, sexy, rocking body … If not, why not? Been there, done that. She was my best friend growing up and she joined me and my ex-GF in a threesome. I've never been so aroused in my life. Her body was flawless and my ex-GF was pretty attractive too. I had guys at the bars coming up to me like I was their hero, because I was the guy with two beautiful girls that were making out with each other and me. Was one of the best nights of my life. Anyone who wouldn't (barring a damn good reason) is a fool IMHO.
lindya
Why is it, I wonder, that makes so many people think that a good looking person is just into their looks and can’t be intelligent or otherwise interesting? I think it's a peculiar combination of competitiveness and a desire for justice. People looking at a person who's generally considered more physically attractive than they are, and wanting to believe that they have the upper hand in some other area - eg, intellectually or in terms of depth of character. halfarock
Hmmm, Do you feel insecure about this? never Like you need to validate above and beyond your superficial attractiveness? I guess your love of pot bellies has a great amount of depth to it. Why it is that beauty must be superficial? I live in the wilderness. Every morning I look outside and all around I see beauty. There is nothing superficial about it. It is life, it is healthy life. Beautiful people tend to be healthy, very healthy. Ugly people tend to be sickly. You picked her? Aside from her semantic skills why did you ..'pick' her?Because she was intelligent, she spoke in complete sentences, and had interesting things to say, we could relate to each other. I always remember the Yardbird’s song, “Mister you’re a better man than me.” There is a line that goes, Could you tell a wise man By the way he speaks or spells? Is this more important Than the stories that he tells? My experiences have led me to the conclusion that those who don’t speak or spell well rarely have a story worth telling. Do you ever read those posts where there is no capitalization, abbreviations are overused, and punctuation poorly used, if at all. They are not written by people who have interesting things to say, or who can organize their thoughts very well. Care to present some examples of wash board intellectuals? Myself. In my youth I was a nationally ranked swimmer and went through high school and college with straight A’s. I’ve gone through life with the idea that healthy bodies and healthy minds go hand in hand. One’s brain benefits from physical activity as much as any other part of one’s body. How much work does it really take to be beautiful? Often it is just lifestyle choices and what one is born with. Those sickly weak dorks that have become the popular image of intellectuals is a fraud. That type is just a dork who studied hard because they had no social life and thus had little else to do. They are rarely truly intelligent, just more knowledgeable than those who never studied.
KenzieAbsolutely
i used to model back in the day. i've got to say, i do eff myself, so my answer would have to be a yes.
Lizzie60
I find it strange that when a person seeks an attractive partner...they are said to be 'superficial'... but they're not if they seek an 'intelligent' person. Call me superficial... I don't care... I want an attractive AND intelligent person and by attractive I mean 'fit' no belly. I agree with Rock... intellectual are usually fit... from what I've seen anyway...
