lovernotafighter Posted September 23, 2007 Share Posted September 23, 2007 I agree 100% Too many people stay in bad marriages because they fear divorce and too many people leave right away because they feel 'traped' or 'stuck' and I think this is a good solution to taking the pressure off. I agree, I also think it would keep people from getting lazy with their commitment if they actually care to stay married, also would have people tons on divorce divorce lawyers..they would be all out a job Link to post Share on other sites

To be able to be sexually renewed, to be able to recapture the thrill of new love every 7 years would boost the quality of life immensely. An end to the marriage after 7 years, spouses will know it is coming and be prepared for it. No hard feelings no wallet draining divorce proceedings...a sharing of child raising responsibilites without having to wheel and deal over visitation rights. LOng before I heard of this from the German politician I myself thought how great it would be to be able to go through life with a number of partners, expanding the whole experience of love and sex, instead of being trapped in a long term marriage with love and sex fading out and life itself turning into a boring same-old, same-old every day. Men's natural inclination is for variety, it is in our DNA. I think long term marriage goes against men's natural inclinations. Perhaps this is one reason why porn is a multi billion dollar business.
