Hello Loveshackers, I want to know are you happy? If not, what would make you happy?

For me, it would be to get my health back into shape where it was a few years ago;)

I moved to Florida late Dec 2006 to start my dream job.

I basically started my life over and left a LOT of toxicity behind. Quit smoking and drinking, started exercising, and went on an all-natural diet. I feel and look better than I have in years.

To answer your question, yes - resoundingly yes!

I havn't been happy in a long time. I don't think money would solve anything (although we could all use a bit more right :)). I think the most important thing would be to find a friend. Especially a female friend (I'm a guy). Just don't think that is at all possible. Not sure this is much help but it is another data point.

I'm happy always. Where ever I am and whatever I am doing is the best thing. Why waste time being miserable, what do you accomplish? Oh, yeah, you make everyone around you just as miserable. Why waste time and energy on useless crap?:)

Happiness usually has to be made. It just doesn't show up one day and introduce itself into your life. As long as you have some control over your life you can achieve it.

Life will never be "perfect," whatever that is, but it can certainly be enjoyable. One thing I do is occasionally take inventory to keep things in proper perspective. Right now the list includes nice, comfortable home, pleasant lifestyle, a wife who loves me and whom I love in return, happy, successful adult children and healthy grandchildren, reasonable funds and investments, a successful career, a great, well-funded retirement coming in a little over two years, reasonable health considering my age and to top it off, as of a week ago, a new car!

Life is good but it has taken a lot of work to make it so. That's the beauty of it, however. I can take pride in my accomplishments. That goes a long way towards happiness.

I'm happy :) of course I have my bad days, but who doesn't? I used to be depressed years ago, but I got over that. I got great friends, good family, healthy me, a future I look forward to.

Some things that would make me happier is not procrastinate with my school work (I stress too much about it and ruins my day), and also getting in the dating scene some more, i still chicken out on girls.

Months ago I was the happiest young man alive. Before that, I was seriously depressed. I pulled myself out of that stage when I met the girl of my dreams. That relationship was really good, but it ended because of a huge misunderstanding and its too late to mend that wound.

Right now I'm neither content or depressed with my life. But I feel that if I don't meet a new girl soon, I'm going to sink back down. Love puts my life on a high. I'm able to play sports better, work out harder, study more efficiently, I become a nicer person, etc... It's what makes my world go round. Right now, I'm kinda running on an empty tank. = /

Despite some incredibly $hitty days, I am happy on the whole.

I've been reading this book about happiness (it more or less says that happiness comes from within). I think the pursuit of happiness via other people or things is futile. That's why most of us crash and burn while looking for happiness.
