I am SO happy for you ! I have followed your thread, but never felt I had anything to add ( anyone remember the "crush on the mailman one, whatever happened there ?) BUT I have been pulling for you ! It sounds like a lovely first date, with somone who appreciates the chance to get to know you. I've been busy with work, the kids' school, my new boyfriend, etc. Well, we've been seeing each other just about every weekend and we've had a few lunches during the week as well. So far, so good! No drama to report. We haven't been caught or found out by any kids. Nothing embarassing. Just plenty of warm, friendly, FUN dates. We talk on the phone often so I'm not on the internet quite as much. He's been just as much of a gentleman on all subsequent outings as he was on the first. He's just a real sweetheart. I couldn't be happier, and I truly hope and pray that all of you are able to find someone as well. I know it can be bleak at times. Trust me, I've spent years single before so I know how bad it can be. Just stay positive and keep a smile on your face. You never know who might be interested in you! SHe has been, apparently, spending "quality" time with her new man! LOL Glad to know things are going well for you. I was concerned that he might secretly have a girlfriend cuz he was picking you up around the corner. I wouldn't worry what others thought about who I saw! Your kids would understand. Good luck! Besides, my hubby didn't have two nickels to rub together when I married him but he was charming and a great guy. And guess what, now he has his own store! Now he has a "few" nickels in his pocket!
