Je Ne Regrette Rien
JNRR, let me ask you this.... DOES YOUR MM HAVE A TWIN BROTHER?! Nope  God broke the mould when he made him, there's no twin anywhere! This thread made me miss him so much that I called him, he came round, we watched a DVD together and there was one moment later, when he was reading the paper and I was cooking and we just looked at each other and both of knew what we were feeling...contented just with being in each others presence. The night just got better from then on! The love, the connection, its just amazing, it really is...
Je Ne Regrette Rien
I guess I am different to some OW's that have come before me because when I think about "us," I see a future, I see I am first in his life...and mostly when it comes down to me either wishing I was her or me, I am glad I am me...because he has shown, time after time, that I am the one he cares about, I am the one that he makes sure he pleases, I am the one he cannot live without... Nope, I see it too, I'm with you on that one GEL. Anyone can tell me what my relationship is. But only I know how it makes me feel. I laugh when people tell me its about sex and not love. If that was the case we'd be like rampant rabbits with each other - you cant fake real love. We're not (well, not sometimes lol ). His love works for me and thats all I need to say. If anyone could fake real love, they are one hell of an actor!! I also laugh when people say the relationship I have with MM is NOT a relationship... What is it then? Clearly they have no clue since they are not me or my MM.

Je Ne, PLEASE don't assume I'm slamming you here ... but you're up on your feet doing all the work while he's sitting on his a** reading the paper?? It sounds like you're already married. Guess it's my bitterness about marriage showing. Sorry. And I will never be able to put myself in the shoes of the MM in this situation. He looks at you cooking, and then he goes home and looks at his W cooking. And feels no guilt about it. Thinking about this just creeps me out.

We've been together so long now and our R has grown to a point where a couple little things happened and I was like, "OMG! We're like a married couple now!" All kidding aside, it's a comforting, safe and secure feeling that is reciprocated...

Guess it's my bitterness about marriage showing. Ha! Guess I've been lucky here, getting a MM whose W made him do everything while she shopped herself into a coma. I have to fight to be allowed into the kitchen, he's just so trained into doing it all. And he's a really good cook. But better still, his cleaning up skills are awesome!

Touche
Haha...stop it. You're a lucky lady for snagging a single guy who turned into the perfect husband. I chose to ignore the sarcasm and take the comment(s) at face value. Thanks, TBF. Yes, I'm lucky. (But he's not perfect..trust me!) But luck is only part of it. One has to be smart about these things. We DO have a choice about who we fall in love with and far we let things go or not go as you well know.

Touche
Am I sensing some bragging going on? j/k. Maybe just a bit. Hey, when you gotta it, flaunt it, right? But seriously, it wasn't about bragging. I was trying to make a real point. I don't know if anyone will get that or not.
