is my freind being cheated on or not? need your input :S

Im going to put this out here on LS; to see what your responses are; cuz I am sorta unsure on this one.

 

-my friends dating this chick for 2yr+; he really likes her ..even loves her

 

-recently she left her email open and he was in her apartment at the time; he found some long emails between her and some guys; generally talking about meeting spots, dance spots and hangout spots in the city. They were long emails (5-6 paragraphs). She had not mentioned any of these guys to him or talked about him to them. The emails didnt get to the point where it seemed like her and these guys have met up individually. this made him suspicious a little bit.

 

-he also started noticing a lot of numbers on her phone that were not in her phonebook; he then found a text message or 2, he says, on her phone from some random guy he has not been told about thanking her for the "dinner/movie". Little bread crumb trail seemed to get longer. He confronted her immediately and she had a reaction similar to the deer in the headlight sorta thing; but later went on to say that it was her best friend's cousin who was playing games with her; cuz they all went out apparently together when she was with her best friend.

 

He knows her best friend will back her up no matter what; he tried calling the guy because this kinda finding would make anyone insecure and got no reply. So what do you guys/gals think? It sounds kinda fishy to me but at the same time not enough to call her out on it? and hes thinking of giving her the benefit of the doubt; but still would like to get in contact with this other guy.

yeah if were your friend Id prepare for her dropping the break up bomb on him. Seems like shes playing the field behind his back.

One thing though; what made him check through her emails in the first place? Seems like he was already having doubts about her?

 

I guess he has had reasons to doubt her; constant clubbing; one instance she actually regarded him as a friend when they first started dating. This is after they made out etc. Also he told me once he was at an office xmas party and she danced with every guy excepting him. Even the final song was sort of a couples song; which she danced with some one else; when he was there in plain sight.

He was really hurt by the fact that she ignored him and danced off with some other guy in the final song. After that he was suspicious about her intentions.

 

Anyways thanks for the input; so only 1 person has thoughts on this?!??! Anyone else; perhaps some ladies inputs ?
