The Collector
I am a professonal writer in my thirties who is attracted to younger women. I find they are less critical than older women, and not as bitter or saggy. I always keep on the right side of the law, and ignore the occasional comment about cradle-snatching or 'grooming' by jealous friends. I have my own moral code and found LoveShack to be often helpful in understanding the alien ways of a woman's mind, whatever the age. But one area that often causes conflict between me and my paramours is the issue of personal hygeine. One of the profound differences between men and women is that ladies are supposed to be fragrant (like innocent flowers), whilst men, the hunters, should have a certain 'muskiness' about them. A healthy male aroma is something to proud of, and I don't think I should be forced to bathe more frequently than I choose to. I'd be interested to hear other mens (or womens even) opinion on this matter. Is this another case of women being brain-washed by the beauty industry? Or is it the feminists again? Trialbyfire
We feminists like to remould society so that it meets our requirements so in response, yes, it's the feminists again. We like our men docile and smelling like peaches.
melodymatters
Um...I don't mind if my man has a musky scent after working out, or working period. usually part of being attracted is pheremones and liking their scent. But dude, if you want to have sex, hit the shower first !
jcster
If you want to bathe only when you chose to, rather than when you need to, then I would suggest finding a nice young girl with no sense of smell.
serial muse
Huh. Call it feminism if you want, but yes, I think B.O. smells bad, no matter where it's wafting from. If you do a little historical research, however, you'll find that both men and women smelled a lot more pungent in the past, because people in general took far fewer baths. We're simply not accustomed to that kind of bombardment of scent nowadays, and that goes for everybody. I say take a shower and ponder some of the advantages we have in this modern age, like LS and hot running water.

serial muse
Pick up hippie chicks and you won't have a problem. I think the hippie chicks would present a whole new set of problems for him. OP, you may be interested to know that in fact, some men actually found the "scent" of a woman to be highly erotic - for example, Napoleon supposedly wrote to Josephine after a successful campaign, "I'm coming home - don't bathe." roxy_1980
EWWWW! Just because you want to smell like a guy, doesn't mean you can skip showers! It is not just women, the guy in the cubicle next to you at work doesn't want to smell you B.O. all day either. SHOWER EVERY DAY. And use deodorant, it can have the most "manly" scent you can find, but you still have use it. (Pit stains are not sexy!) And you have to shower before a special event (i.e. dates and other social functions). These are the rules of society, not just women. If you go on a date with someone and she can smell you across the table, you're not getting any from her. In fact, she may just lose your number somewhere between the restaurant and the car. Sweaty workmen, sexy. Just some random sweaty dude, not so much.
oppath
Sure, you don't need to bathe...as long as you smell like flowers and own a pet unicorn.

tanbark813
Napoleon supposedly wrote to Josephine after a successful campaign, "I'm coming home - don't bathe." She also cheated on him a lot. Maybe he just wanted to inspect her for the evidence of other men.
Trialbyfire
The stronger male scent doesn't begin until after puberty. Perhaps this is why you feel it's not necessary to bath yourself more often?

Its wrong to stink for an extended period of time. I got home from work about 45 minutes ago and I haven't showered yet, but I need to.
Krytie TV
These are the rules of society, not just women. If you go on a date with someone and she can smell you across the table, you're not getting any from her. In fact, she may just lose your number somewhere between the restaurant and the car. I hate to debunk your theory, but here we go. One day back in school I was at an event in which I discovered with supreme horror that I had failed to put on deodorant before leaving the house 8 hours previously, and it was a hot muggy day in SE Pennsylvania. So being all self-concious, I chose to move in on this little hottie that was a first year student in the program I was a 3rd year in. We got to talking and hit it off really well, even though I was stinky. She told me a couple months later that she remembers the BO on the day we met, and we had a few good laughs about it. At any rate, I married that woman, albeit unsuccessfully, and she turned out to be the Evil Dragon Queen. So I think the lesson here is obvious. If they aren't turned off by your BO... BEWARE!!! They are obviously evil blood suckers without any regard for your feelings or mental status!
soulseeker
OP, I wonder if those are the only reasons you like the younger women... Anyway, there is a huge distiction between natural muskiness and outright BO. I love the natural smell of a man, and I'd take that over any cologne, any day. BUT, I dont want to overwhelmed by BO. I like to be able to breath next to my man.
jophil28
Or is it the feminists again? The feminists are responsible for a lot of the 'wussification' of western male culture BUT even the the most loony feminazi would probably want their pet wuss boy to wash and rinse and smell clean. Is this protest of yours against freqent showers really your way of 'staying masculine and not being controlled by the forces of the cosmetic industry.' ? I just don't see your objection as having any merit. What is your real pont? I am a masculine guy . I lead women and take no crap from them . I have several girfriends who adore me - BUT I shower, wash, rinse and repeat every day . Just do it man. This protest of yours is tilting at windmills.

Author The Collector
Sigh. I was hoping that people here would not be as brainwashed by our PC-gone-mad society and defend my right to be as manly as I want to be. Perhaps if you love communism so much you should all move to Cuba. I don't tell women how often to bathe, so why should I allow them to dictate to me? If a woman had a moustache, and many do, I would not have the right to tell her to shave it off. In fact I've found it easier to not even mention it, so why can't you women-folk do likewise? Of course I am not talking about stinking like a pauper, but like some woman said earlier, in the past, or in Russia, people bathed monthly. I believe it it has less to do with olfactory offence and more to do with what I have heard called 'sh*t-tests' - women trying to make you betray your personal ethics to see if you are a real man or a 'UFC.' And to all the lovely ladies defending my right to be as musky as I wanna be - PM me!
melodymatters
I am loving this !!! I wouldn't want to go down on my BF if his nether regions hadn't seen soap in a bit and now I'm a communist AND a feminist !!! :lmao:
