Does size reallly matter?

Recommended Posts

im a 26 year old woman, who is self conscious about my breast. im 5ft 2inches and a size 4 (UK). so im very petite. my bra size is 32B which i feel uncomfortable with, everyone seems to have biggest breasts than me and i notice other womens boobs a lot. i love natural looking breasts but im so tempted to have a breast augmentation. My boyfriend apparently likes my boobs and is a "boob man ". But his ex was a DD cup so it must be so weird for him now. i do not feel feminine. So guys. Does size really matter? if you had the choice would bigger boobs win every time?

Je Ne Regrette Rien

Hi,

I'm a female and I went through the exact same "phase". And believe me, it is a phase.

I was with a guy who LOVED big boobs and I am a petite 32B. He looked at them EVERYWHERE and I would obviously look down and compare my poor little fellas and think he was missing out. But I was young then, 23 maybe? I went through a phase of wanting a breast enlargement and even spoke to my boyfriend who was horrified by the thought as he hated fake breasts - go figure! So I was stuck...

The relationship didn't work out (for other reasons lol) and my next partner LOVED my boobs, thought they looked so pert and didn't like anything bigger. He also hated fake boobs, but I loved the fact he loved my boobs and I started to love them too.

My current partner says - more than a handful is too much, and I've got a handful at least lol. But as I got older, I noticed everyone's boobs that I had so coveted were sagging and being hoiked up in bras that look like an engineering project. Mine? I can wear great tops, I wear nice sexy bras and mine are as pert as they were when I was 18. I still go commando (without a bra) and I'm as pert as ever and its a massive turn-on for my man. I love them now and wouldn't change a thing. I'm so pleased I didn't get an enlargement and change them.

Don't judge your body by anothers eyes, judge it by your own and keep in mind the future, where stretchmarks, sagging and blue veins wont be anywhere near your boobs! What I would say is concentrate on the rest of your body before your boobs. Having a great washboard stomach, a nice pert bum, excellent posture and working on your waist will bring the very best of your boobs out. Also, wearing a good bra which fits properly is an excellent tip-of-the-hat to your boobs future.

Good luck

I am a male, and size absolutely means nothing to me breast wise.

You know, I heard that Amazon women warriors would cut off a breast so they could operate the bow and arrow without interference.

I actually admire that and thats a turn on.

But anyway, the breast size is the last thing I look at, honestly.

Mallory,

Your BF is probably worried he isnt big enough too! So no worries!

Big boobs dont mean anything. Im a guy and I dont pick GF's based on bra size! I think that would be kind of a dumb idea anyway!

CobraX! Saxis!

It's so nice to hear someone say breast size doesn't matter!

Not that I have worries though!

Cheers!

I dunno.

I just admire someone that dedicated to their craft.

I apologize for the discomfort!

But I would feel the same way if someone started a thread about an operation to reduce the size of an eleven inch penis. That would make me squirm.

Maybe they cut it off the breast in a nice friendly manner?

It might just be myth.

WOW DirectX... 11 in... hummm.... nice...

To the OP... If I were a guy... I don't think size would matter... seriously... I have 38DD... and trust me it is an handicapped especially for golf...

Plus... I love the 'layered' looks (fashion)... but with huge breasts I can't have that... I would look enormous... In fashion, small breasts is waaayyy better.... For lingerie... well that's another thing... ;)

But if they look nice... 32B is not 32AA... so you're OK I guess... enjoy them.. I'm sure your bf loves all of you...

My husband always said "more than a handful is a waste." I had always been a B or C cup until I lost weight and had kids. Then they went to an A cup and were virtually skin. If I had a B cup and they were perky, I would say leave them alone. If you do breast augmentation now, they may look different after having kids, etc.

I did opt for breast augmentation a year ago. I went from a saggy A cup to a full D, almost DD. I am very satisfied with them but I did it for myself and my self esteem. Not for my hubby's. Although, he does enjoy them.

I think each is own. If you are satisfied with them, then the person you choose to be with will be satisfied with them. I think it is all in the confidence you have. I was very self conscious of mine and so I changed them.

All you got to do is look around at flat chested or barely there boobs women and ask if they are hurting for men. There is a lot to this that I won`t go into.

I will say no more.

And ask those with larger busts if they are hurting for men.

I think it comes down to the fact that ultimately men don't really care. When they are immature horny teenaged boys then they make a big fuss or whatever. But if you are in an adult relationship with someone then I would rather doubt anyone would base their decisions on the size of their partners chests.

Something I am relieved to discover after my being treated like a piece of meat duing High School

I'm going to start saying to women "Wow! You are really a-mazos!"

(See definition in previous post)

I also think boob jobs are such a waste. I can understand reducing the sag and whatever to make a woman feel better about herself, but when they increase size...its silly to me at least.

I have implants. I don't think the size of the boobs matters so much as whether or not they're good boobs FOR their size, implants or not. Ugly little boobs exist, as do big saggy boobs. But great boobs of both sizes exist as well, most often with the aid of implants.

Both little boobs and big boobs have their advantages. Little boobs make dressing a LOT easier. I had no idea the difficulties I'd have with implants! I actually thought shopping - particularly tiny-top and bikini shopping - would be easier. It's NOT! Little boobs also make running and other high-impact exercises much easier.

On the other hand, now that I have implants, I feel sexier, I'm more confident and feel sexier in my own body, and have yet to feel insecure about being with a guy (but I did pre-implants). I don't have to "take off" my boobs at the end of the day, and I definitely feel much more womanly.

I'm a 34D or DD with implants, and honestly, seriously, I've dated guys who felt them quite often and had no idea they weren't all mine. Other guys have said, "Wow, those are great...really? They're fake??" There's a misconception that all implants don't feel good. Perhaps I'm the exception to the rule, but having started off as a 34B and now having pretty large ta-tas, I can assure you it's entirely possible for fakies to look AND feel amazing. I have plenty of friends who have them as well, and none of theirs feel fake to me either (yes, we feel our fake boobies!).

Like jtalia, I did it for myself as well, although I'll admit that a couple guys' comments about preferring large boobs did have some influence over me. IMO, I didn't have great little boobs to begin with. Some women do. If I had good little boobs, I don't know if I would have gone ahead with getting implants. But as it was, I had no reason to keep the little 'uns.

In addition, it's kinda crazy to say this, but it was a pretty easy surgery and recovery...

Not an issue at all. There are far more important things that I have to look out for and that I want in a woman.

Breath easy Mallary. Breast size means nothing. It may make a guy double-take down the street, but he's not more likely to date someone just for the boob size.

I sit somewhere in the middle, neither large or small. If someone is going to disparage the size of them, have at it, 'cause that's not the type of man who would interest me.

OP, keep in mind that much of what you see isn't real. Lingerie has been designed to create the under-the-chin look.

Sometimes I wonder if the lingerie companies are actually aiming for

up-around-the-ears.

Perhaps the oncoming traffic might be useful, for someone willing to wear wrap around lingerie...

Yeah, you make a good reasonable point, StarGazer. I think I shout my mouth off too soon without thinking.
