American women suck

You know, i am so sick of 'Americans this' and 'Americans' that.

Where I live, if you drive 400 miles in any direction, its a totally different type of people if not culture.

Not to mention just going to a different state entirely.

 

America is a jumble of cultures and people all of the world, but people seem to forget this. They just want to say Americans are such and such for convenience sake and lazy thinking.

 

I can't think of a place on Earth where is there is a more diverse group of people in one country. But maybe I am wrong.

You can excuse those of us who have never been there for having some preconceived (probably inaccurate) perceptions based on what we read or see on TV/movies. (And George W doesn't really do you any favours;))

I know enough to know that they aren't accurate representations of the people, and I am really looking forward to seeing more for myself.

 

I don't have any bones with Americans, if I did, it would be hard to avoid them on Loveshack, and there are some great people on here.

 

What I find wierd is that AMERICANS are just as guilty for saying 'americans this' and 'americans that', and they should know better.

Cultural diversity is what lends America its greatness and distinct identity. It is a land of contrasts, geographically and culturally. This is what I miss most about not living there anymore. To stereotype a country is, to say the least, a biased, inaccurate and narrow - minded point of view. I am grateful for the diverse influences that living in America has had on my personal identity. I am richer for having been exposed to these influences. That said, I am also proud of my heritage which, likewise, has contributed to the shaping of the person have become. I feel I am fortunate to have had both experiences. Travelling and getting to know other cultures is also a very rewarding experience as far a spersonal growth and awareness is concerned.

 

All cutures have made (and sill continue to do so) their contribution to humanity.

Oh, and to stick to the topic, national characteristics in my opinion have nothing to do with gender. Men and women are equally influenced by their environment. A collective identity includes both genders and makes no distinction between the two.

Why is everyone trying to pick apart the opposite sexes flaws? I think a persons flaws is what makes then unique. Unless however, that flaw becomes lethargic.

 

 

 

 

Everyone always has to better themselves. It's a matter of recognizing it in yourself, or accepting it in a mate and being supportive. I hate whenever I see someone being negative toward another persons characteristics. The only thing you are going to get out of that is trying to hold on other person down with you. I lived in NYC for about a year when I was 18. I grew up in the UK and live in Australia. Trust me, dumb people are everywhere

I've known several Eastern European women (Russian, Polish, Slovenian), and I can say they are just as psycho as any American woman I've known. Probably even more. One was a serious gold-digger. They don't have the same sexual conservatism that people here tend to value. I dated an attractive girl from Bangladesh who was pretty manipulative and actually quite vicious in her cute little way.

 

Women from other countries appear better on the surface, but underneath it all they are no different. With one caveat: If you want to go for high quality and "down to Earth", go Canadian.

Your post is pretty harsh, but if I extrct the main point - that women of other cultures are not better than any Americaness - I will agree with it.

 

If you want a non-American woman, go live in her country. In no other country are women most supported by the system. An American woman wil not put up with crap. Because she doesn't have to. Women from other countries will, because they have no choice.

 

What irks me out is that the myth of American women being dracons comes from the expectation that a woman should be able to put up with crap (and it's believed that a foreign woman will). Men want women who will respect them (read: obey them), love them (read: selflesly serve them), who won't argue with them (read: will never dare to complain about the sh*t that they do), and who are humble (read: never spend "their" money).

 

There are plenty of cultures where a woman like this can be found. Go there and find her, but you will have to live in that culture. You want to bring the backward attitude toward women, but live in a developed country like the US.

Why do women assume that just men want love and respect that that means we want a doormat? Would a woman want a relationship without love and respect? Do they want to be married to a man who resents the hell out of them and treats them like crap? I seriously doubt they do so why is it that a man is expected to want that or else we don't like strong women and we want a subserviant doormat?
