halfarock Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Do guys like confident girls? I do............
JamesM Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Define what YOU mean by confident. And out of curiosity, why do you ask?
googlezap Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 If the lack of confidence is benign like inexperience or something, then that's okay. There's the whole innocence thing too that can be a turnon. Some guys I think might even like the idea of opening a girl up and making her more confident. But if the lack of confidence leads to insecurities, negativity and so forth then it's a turnoff
T - mac Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 i absolutely looovve a strong and confident woman!!
monkey00 Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Definitely...why would I want to date someone who isn't confident in her ability to believe that I want her as much as she wants me?
Stereogram Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 absolutely....if a girl is quiet or mute and doesn't show a lot of character...it's such a bummer. I've met too many beautiful girls that just sat there and looked pretty. I want a girls that are very talkative, attentive, and confident. Even if you are naturally shy but still have the courage to get out there and fight for you want...that works for me too! Just have the drive....
with_out_a_safteynet Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I love confident sexy women... I work in business were you have to be dressed in professional business apparel. There is no better turn on then a women dressed professionally and has a confident personalty...Now grant it! we all know the difference between confident and stuck up! Its the same thing when a women get turn on by the way man carry themselves. Women always say how much of a turn on it is to have a confident man. How does that song go..." I like a girl with a short skirt and a long jacket!" Ohhh yes i aint that the truth
Lyssa Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 absolutely....if a girl is quiet or mute and doesn't show a lot of character...it's such a bummer. I've met too many beautiful girls that just sat there and looked pretty. I want a girls that are very talkative, attentive, and confident. Even if you are naturally shy but still have the courage to get out there and fight for you want...that works for me too! Just have the drive.... Thank goodness I am not mute but I am a bit shy and take my time to open up. I think it has something to do with my past. A lot of girls are talkative, some are way too talkative which can be annoying. Unless they talk a lot of sense then that's alright. Same goes with men. Jamie.Ashe, I think a lot of men like confident women. I am wondering why you ask too...
Letranger Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Very very much so. I like aggressive as well. Who would like insecure girls?
Lunar Sonata Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 It's easy to take advantage of insecure girls or boys. You keep them insecure and they're under your wing for life! If they ever gain confidence, they'll leave you like a bad habit. So keep them down by being macho. But never hit them. Just their ego. Oh, and see my sig. I don't like girls who can be taken advantage of. I like women who have a, what's that called? Brain.
bigheartkindsoul Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Wow this has been really interesting to read, and although I have my blips am working on being confident all the time. Funny as doing the job I do I am very confident in front of my customers and strangers talking about business, I suppose my knock in confidence comes from thinking I am never enough. Stems from somethings that happened in my childhood with a stepfather. But am learning and getting more confident. Also try to be assertive enough to stand up for oneself when being taken advantage of, has been a tough one as when did this as a child has the living daylights beaten out of me. But thanks great reading and some food for thought about being confident & not being taken advantage of.
plainoldjared Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I love a confident woman. Something I seriously enjoy (because its irressitably cute and sexy) is having my gf (when I had one) vent to me about a jerk she had to deal with and what she did about it, in detail. Its attractive to know that my woman confident and also that she takes pride in herself and is not afraid to speak up when she knows something is wrong or she is being wronged. Even if she is wrong, I would much rather hear the story on how she defended herself and then how she got over the embarrasment of being wrong rather than hear the same constant complaint yet she doesnt say anything...
Blue Eyed Brain Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I'm a very confident woman and I have never had a problem conversing and interacting with men. Men also respond very willingly to me. I think it's the 4" heels and the confidence to wear them!
