bigheartkindsoul
So I am now a volunteeer for chairty, cats protection league here in UK. This I will keep up. I have taken up fencing. But I like to try many different things, do not like sticking to doing the same thing week in week out so am trying to think of some new things for the New Year I can try. Is also a good way to meet new people. Keep inmind I have a slipped disc so my beloved kick boxing is out of the question or any other martial art. Also need to keep costs to a minimum so anything too expensive is out. But any suggestions of things I could try doing?
jerbear
I couldn't sleep so I'm here. Since you've taken up fencing and can not take high impact martial arts what about yoga to gain more flexibility over time? Do you have any interests in building things aka working on your flat? Other hobbies, knitting, sewing, playing games, taking the new pussy out for walks (had to say it), walking, biking, cooking, etc...
Lyssa
You can also try 'scrap-booking'. You can recapture sweet memories - we have a couple of shops here specially for 'scrap-booking', you can meet a lot of people there. Not an expensive hobby. I'm sure there's something like that where you're at. Do you like to design? How about designing some of your own jewelery? I'm really into sports - lol - and I'm sure you are too but seeing that your slipped disc does not allow you to do vigorous sports... I can't suggest any!
