Does she want me or am I thinkin too much into it..?

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I hope I am welcomed to the forum..first timer here. This may be a little off topic but here goes anyway.. Question: While enjoying a dinner party with my girl and her best friend (a guy), his new girfriend was sitting down on opposite ends of the table, I sat in the "kings chair" if you will at the other end and could see her well. From time to time I would look up from talking to others and find her looking at me, not long but I "felt" it that way...but then she would look away..when I happen to look her way..she is very attractive I admit, but I am happy with my g/f besides I want her and my g/f's best friend to have a good relationship because he has not had anyone in a loooong time. So I try to pay it no mind..later at the salsa club my g/f and I were taking off and so we said our goodbyes and she gave me the "latin" kiss but she planted a good one on the cheek slyly w/o anyone notice, but I sure did! Still, I pay it no mind then she say's "nice seeing you again" (second time seeing her) and held my hand a little longer than normal. Whew, sorry so long...but I wanted to fill you in on the story.. ;) ANyway, is she sending me signals? are they sexual? ladies any clues you give me and what I should do about it? She is so hot that I am afraid to be alone with her after a few drinks!

So make sure you're not alone with her especially if you've had a few drinks. Yes, some women like to send out sexual 'come on' signals just to see if they bounce back. Some don't and their general friendliness is misread. Sounds like she may possibly be one of the former but bottom line is, what does it matter? You are with someone and unavailable - continue to act that way.

I'm not saying 'don't feel anything' because you clearly already do and some part of you is at the least flattered and at the most I suspect turned on a little by the clandestine/danger element of it all, but unless you want to cause yourself and your partner and your friends major heart ache, stay out of her garden.

She's 'hot' and got you running scared with a hand shake and a kiss on the cheek so I reckon you have little chance of resisting in the future if she should choose to do a number on you (I'll have to let the guys comment on if that's how it goes with men because a woman that is totally into her man would probably be unaffected by a couple of 'come on' looks and an attempt to play footsy under the table - but maybe I'm wrong...' )

Anyway, let's hope for your sake it was the rhythm of that Salsa beat working it's latin magic on you both - forget it and concentrate on your relationship, I doubt if she'll jump you in a dark ally anytime soon ...

thanks so very much for the insight guys! I am sure I wont do anything if she did come on to me. My girl is oh so very special and loyal to the upmost and it would not be worth it in the long run for the 4 involved...what would it get me? Nothing, no more than some temp. excitement. I am with you both. Leave her alone. Just smile frieldly right, not sexy..:D

Forgot to mention that she came from the end of the table towards our end (my gf, her bf and I) and she touched my shoulder from the left all the way across to the right with her hand and part of her chest..! I just gulp down some more wine and prentended that is was just a friendly gesture...but somehow I knew this was a bit unusual..ladies, what does that mean.? I understand if we had been long time friends, then it would be "no big deal" but we hardly know each other! WHy are we men so WEAK when it comes to stuff like this??!!

Dont worry, I'll be good!

Dude, if your male friend is one of your buddies... You owe it to him (not to mention your girlfriend) to tell this "fox" to take it somewhere else...

But otherwise, if you question was, is she coming on to me?

Yes.
