ok heres whats up. the other night i went over to my neighbors house and there was a girl there who i had never seen before in my life, but she immediately came on to me. now, i was kinda drunk, and who am i to turn down this kind of attention? so we went back to my apartment and got to know each other better. the next morning i woke up with a headache and a girl in my bed with whom im not totally positive what actually happened. anyway, its now a couple of days later and she keeps on calling me, but i dont really want to see her cause the whole encounter made me feel really trashy. i very rarely meet a girl and sleep with her in the same night - its just kinda not my thing. i like to get to know them better. so the topic of discussion is - how should i politely break this to her?

That would be pretty easy. Simply tell her you'd like to get to know her better. If she tries to seduce you in the meantime, simply tell her you'd like to put that off a bit until you know her better and have spent quality time with her.

Doing so will probably baffle her. Most women are used to guys wanting to get in their pants at the snap of a finger. Then again, women complain that guys are out after only one thing...then they find one who isn't and they freak out. You just can't win!!!

I don't think he WANTS to get to know her better.

My advice is, honesty is the best policy. No sense stringing her along if you have no intention of forming a relationship with her and you don't feel comfortable sleeping with her again. Just tell her you had too much to drink and did something you don't normally do and you're sorry. Nuff said.

And for the record, there are girls out there who are only interested in getting into a guy's pants too. It can go both ways. I think it's awesome that here is a guy who is not cool with that and has a conscience about it. Good for you!

thanks very much for the replies. cindy, you're right - i DON'T want to get to know her better. i kinda just wanna forget the whole thing happened. last night she came over and i talked to her and told her that i usually dont do this type of thing and apologized for leading her on. at first she didn't understand, then she got mad, then she left my apartment, and then she called back and said she was sorry and that she was cool with it. so anyway, thanks again for the advice!
