Phateless
I am a CHRONIC procrastinator. In fact, that's probably the main reason I'm on this board so much. I have no idea why I do it either... the things I do to avoid doing what I should be doing usually don't even bring me much fulfillment, satisfaction, or even pleasure. It's bizarre, I really don't understand it. I once googled the term "procrastination" (while procrastinating, of course, lol) and got some good results. I'll post the links later if I can find them. I guess I just wanted to hear from other posters here. It gets to the point where I barely get anything done, down to paying bills, taking care of myself, etc... it's weird. I don't understand it. whichwayisup
Nah, i'm the worst procrastinator. I posted on "how to get wax off of jeans" after Halloween...Well, those jeans are still sitting there with wax on them. Nice eh? I understand what you are feeling and it does suck...But, what can help you alot is everyday MAKE yourself do one thing, even if it's a small task. Like: tomorrow you pay ONE bill. The next day you clean one room, or spend atleast 20 mins tidying up and dusting. Once you feel that accomplishment, you'll want to do more. or not! LOL! Just kidding.. Have you always been like this, or is this recent? I ask because this time of year SAD and mild depression can set in, depending where you live and what the weather is like. JamesM
No, I am the worst. I have a book on how to stop procrastination I really want to read and should....I guess I will get to it tomorrow. Seriously, I do sometimes have this problem. Usually it is simply because the things I have to do are boring or appear difficult or challenging. Yet when I do the thing I put off, it actually is not so difficult. I have learned to do something now and not schedule it for a later date. The more I dislike doing it, the more I should consider it something to do immediately.
Pedigree
I once googled the term "procrastination" (while procrastinating, of course, lol) and got some good results. I'll post the links later if I can find them Yeah, you're a procrastinator all right . Whether or not I procrastinate usually depends on whether or not the thing I'm supposed to do has a deadline. If there's no deadline, then I'm more likely to procrastinate.

I've been suffering from chronic procrastination forever! This is a source of contention in my relationship... My bf isn't a big fan of perpetual procrastination. I have to say, I have improved somewhat...but I still have a long way to go. If I have to study, I find myself cleaning. If I have to clean, I end up cooking. I will find ways to avoid a task at hand.
