Wanting her to be happy

Ok I have been with my gf for lil over a month but we have been talking since july but she is my X and we went out three years ago and yeah we got back togther. She lives like 2 hours from me. Me and her are both in love with each other. She went out with this guy for almost three years and they broke up and they are suppose to be friends but he still tries to get back with her and is starting to show he has changed because he could provide her a house and is ready for more things then me. The reason why I'm not as ready is cus I'm joining the US air force which will be hard on her and she supports me joining the military but I want her to be in every part of my life and she told me that she does really love me and to just think about her more. She wants me to able to provide for her and I don't want to lose her to him and she has also told me that she never wants to bet back with him but I'm still kinda tripping. We are both still virgins and we are kinda wanting to make love on christmas. I wanna spend the rest of my life with her and I just want her to be happy. Wat should I do? Advice please

Yeah i know exactly how you feel because I went through the same thing. I met my girlfriend that I have now at college. we dated for about 3 months then i joined the air force. We really loved each other so we tried out the long distance relationship. I now am stationed in Alaska which is really far away from her. We have been dating for 2 years now. Im not going to say its really easy to keep the relationship going cause its not. It takes alot of work. I only see her once or twice a year. My advice is to talk about it. If you really love each other you should be able to get through anything. You have to keep up communication by email or phone calls cause thats all you have.
