daisydufas22
Hey! Just looking for some advice...... I was in this relationship and this guy used to compare me to models and so forth. I was very overweight ....... so I started losing weight the healthy way and lost my first 44 pounds. Then slap...... I found out he had an affair with a woman that looked like a model. He called me 'gentically inferior' and left. Exercise really healed me to 'get over the guy'. I would never want him back! I used (or focused) this anger and lost an additional 44 pounds...... 88 pounds in total. Yes, I lost weight this the sensible way! Lately, I have been starving myself and wearing lose or additional clothing because I am so cold all the time! I don't know how to tackle this problem.......I just don't know how to stop feeling like c**p about myself! Has someone else been through this ..... can you tell me what to do? Thanks! sb129
Daisy, do you mind saying what your height and weight are now? Also, how long ago did this guy do this to you? Please don't go overboard. It sounds like you have lost too much weight, and thats not good for you either. This guy doing that to you has understandably damaged your self esteem, but you need to remember that you are a good person with alot to offer, and you need to take care of yourself! Starving yourself is not taking care of yourself.
Yosef
You're cold because your body is eating away at all of your fat in order to survive. You don't eat enough calories and complex carbohydrates to provide the energy required for your body to remain able to perform the normal tasks, and therefore is going to it's "Last Resort", the fat. STOP STARVING YOURSELF. If you eat something small once every 3 hours, you lose more weight than when you starve yourself because the scheduled eating keeps your metabolism functioning at it's quickest pace. When you don't eat, your metabolism basically drops to nothing until you eat something, which therefore doesn't allow the metabolism to burn the amount of calories and excess fats you want it too, again resorting back to the stored fats. I hope this isn't too complex for you to understand. It usually takes people a couple hints, so ask if you have any questions. You lost weight the sensible way, now you're currently losing weight the worst, most irresponsible way.
