There has been progression

I'm posting this because I'm done thinking about what I don't have this Xmas. I got to thinking about what I have.

At this time last year I was jobless, alone in a new city, divorcing, and severely in debt. This time around, I have 2 jobs that treat me pretty well, have a great group of friends (that happen to be gone for the holidays... bastards), My divorce is final and "complete" in every way shape and form, and I'm still grossly in debt... but making headway every month.

My dog goes without saying... truly a faithful friend.

Hmm... it doesn't seem so bad after all. You may not care too much, but I feel a lot better!

Merry Xmas everyone and Hapy Channukah (sp?)!

When I start feeling down and that perhaps life hasn't been fair to me, I just think of all the people who got blown to bits by bombs this month in Iraq. I think about all the troops who have to live in 120 degree heat in Iraq, not ever knowing if they'll be alive in the next hour. Then I look down and see that I'm all in one piece and things don't seem so bad at all.
