abeliever Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 We my H and I was to host our annual New Year's Eve Party despite all that is going on. Then we decided not to. The day before NYE my H came to me and said hey eveyone keeps asking why are't we having it? What should I tell them? I said what about the "truth"??? Of course it skips him to do that then he says lets keep the tradition and do it. Ok I said and ordered $125 worth of food and everyone else to bring own liquor and a covered dish. (about 30 50 people each year) New Year Eve day at work was one of the worst in years. We have never been that busy on the last day of the month. But we handled it and 4 p was coming and we was closing a bit early. Earlier in the day one of my employees said she saw him skipping?!!?! I said are you sure? She said yes I thought maybe because a lot of money came in (that is what makes him happy) then 20 minutes later he comes in says call everyone and cancel the party. He was irratated I sent the last secretary home early, not sure why we always let them off early on holidays. I told him no way you want to cancel after people made arrangements with babysitters etc then you call and cancel it. So he did, remember he is bipolar. Most all was his friends from his hobby club and a few employees. So it was cancelled. I was so embarrassed, he has no clue how rude that was or that it makes him look like a a$$ glad this is my last year with him! I will never have to endure this again. I went to the movies with a friend any my daughter to see Will Smith's new movie (awesome by the way) and went to dinner. We had a blast!
