What does it mean ( or might it mean) when a separated woman of many years wears her wedding ring on a chain around her neck?

Many things...

 

Some that come to mind:

 

  • Is not married but ring is closer to her heart
  • Ring size does not fit her anymore
  • Reminds the new guy that she is seperated with the ring in his face when she is on top, leaning down.

I wear my ring on a chain around my neck and for me it means I love my ring. I can't wear it on my wedding finger but I think it is beautiful and want to keep it so it went on a chain.
