Soul: Earth Vortexes

Recommended Posts

You have so much passion. Direct it towards something creative/productive. That does make it real in a way.

I wish I could give you four-and-a-half bunnies for that. Where is half a bunny when you need it?

So is this like a warm and friendly voodoo doll effect? Do different parts of your body tingle at different moments? I should think they would.

I've only noticed the tingling in my balls. Perhaps that's the best way to communicate with me? I'm really not sure.

I appreciate your questions.

What I want the most is to connect cosmically with Denver guy, so I'll be there on his bd.

You may think he is your soulmate, but sadly, he isn't yours because if he was, you two be together already. He hasn't contacted you at all..

I don't mean to poo-poo your trip, it sounds interesting. I just hope at some point that you find peace in your heart, enough to let go of Denver guy. Who knows, maybe this trip will help you see that it's time to say goodbye to him forever and stop wishing he was yours.

Have you considered astral projection?

If you can obtain an out of body experience (OBE) then you could travel the astral plane and connect with him this way. Or so I am told.

Heck, you could astral project to a vortex. Now that would be an experience I imagine.

Well, you know the story of Denver guy.

When we met, he had already promised his ex gf that he'd wait for her, so he was tied up that way.

When we met, it was too late.

Well, I don't know about astral projection.

I'm just trying to do the best I can.

Vortex is the only thing that came to mind at this point. Seems like it's going to be an interesting experience overall.

Honey, go for it! Like you said, it sounds like an amazing experience!

Thanks Marlena.

I'm still not sure if I'll go, but I've been considering the idea.

Sounds exciting, at least that place is nice and I'll get to see the country and a beautiful place like that.

Will have to reserve a hotel room for one night etc.

What would happen if it worked? Do you have an outcome in mind?

Will have to let the cosmos decide on that one.

Not sure what will happen.

But to sort of merge the energies, like when you plug the cable of an appliance I guess.

Maybe I'll realize something too.

Who knows, most likely I'll just look at a bunch of rocks and come back.

:(

Well, I'm not recommending this, but apparently Carlos Castaneda had something to do with this whole vortex thing in the southwest. And he realized lots of things, but he threw a bunch of peyote into the mix.

(Every time I write the word "vortex" I can't help but think of Zaphod Beeblebrox and the Total Perspective Vortex.)

To tell you the truth, I don't even know whether to believe in this or not.

You read and it sounds so interesting:

The subtle energies of the Earth are located in energy lines and vortexes. Vortexes are found on the lines or at the cross points of similar lines. Vortexes are places where subtle electromagnetic energies move in and out of the Earth and are consequently places with concentrated energies. These spiraling energies influence our health and consciousness in subtle and sometimes not so subtle ways. There are many different types of vortexes. The ones most important for us, humans, are those that resonate with the energy systems of our being. They help to balance our energy systems and in that way contribute to our health.

And a lot of people go there and know about it. I talked to my ex-bf and he knew all about that. Talked to my ex-husb, and he knew about the Sedona location and that there are tours of people going there.

Not sure if that is going to be any different than say the parking lot of Target, much more pretty though.

Still dabating whether to go, I think what interests me the most is that is going to be exciting and different from my daily routine. An adventure.

(Hopefully the car won't break in the middle of the road and me alone there in the Arizona desert).

An adventure may give you that "clean slate" feel at the start of the New Year, if nothing else.

Yeah,

Maybe the realization is going to be that I'll forget about Denver guy completely. Clean slate.

:(

So much for the connection in his bd.

Hi guys,

Still thinking of going.

I believe this is going to be an exciting experience. I want to find out what this energy is all about or if there is nothing going on over there.

I wrote to a friend of mine inviting her to come along and she said:

Ariadne, I already made the drive there in one day, no fun. Don't want to make the turnaround in 2 days. If you consider going another weekend and break up the drive with two overnights in Phoenix I would consider it. Going to Phoenix that weekend is out of the question since the Superbowl is there that weekend. Hotels are going for hundreds of dollars. Hugs! T.

So, it's going to be superbowl weekend :( and I don't know if it's going to be crowded in Sedona (2 hrs from Phoenix) because of that.

Now I'm considering going on the 19th also because it's close to a full moon. That's fun too.

But probably will go, I feel the urge... and it seems like a nice place to visit.

Personally, while I question whether anything will happen, no one will know. And certainly if you do not go, YOU will never know.

There are some things in life that can only be learned by doing, and this is one of them.

Go for it, and please let us know how it goes.

Thanks so much James.

I will let you guys know for sure if I make it there.

Ok,

And now my ex husb 2 called me saying that he wants to go, that Sedona is a place he's wanted to go for a while (he loves to travel) and that he had to check his calendar for the next weekend off.

Me: Yey, that's great!

He: Are you going to drive me crazy?

Me: Oh no, we are going to have a cool time. Just that when we get there I want to go on my way alone in the rocks.

He: You want to go alone in those rocks so that you'd get killed there?!

Me: Well, I'd like to have a moment by myself to meditate or whatever, you are not going to tell me that all the time we are going to be there I'm going to be with you by my side the whole time.

He: I know what's going to happen! Something will happen to you and I'm going to get blamed for it. No way!

Me: Ok, bye honesyito.

Sigh.. what a pest. I'll go alone.

As a geophysicist who has studied Earth's magnetism, it sounds like a bunch of crap to me. Magnetic anomalies are deviations from the normal magnetic field (not quite a dipole, but close enough) caused by ferromagnetic materials, such as the mineral magnetite from basalt. Basically, magnetic fields deviations are a function of earth's latitude and crustal rock composition and it's structure (thickness), including shields, sedimentary basins and old subduction zones. Electromagnetic energies aren't moving in and out of the earth. It's a field. It exists everywhere. Deal with it. And the small deviations in that normal field aren't enough to alter the iron particles in you blood stream or the charged ions that affect your nervous system.

So good luck with that.

Ah, but so many things in life do not seem to be possible and cannot be explained by science. If it is not possible by science, does that mean it is not possible?

Maybe you should visit one of these places. It might help flush some of the negative vibes out of your system, and ease your buttock tightness just enough to begin to own your problems.

It's hard to deny that we have a special connection to our home planet. There's a lot of history, here. And some areas definitely seem to energise us a great deal more than others.

It is cool that you know all this stuff, Oppath (Now I understand why they wanted your mind in Houston).

But don't rain on Ariadne's parade. She's going on a spiritual quest, not conducting a magnetic survey to detect a hydrocarbon prospect. ;)

Haha... yeah, I'm not even sure what I'm planning to find.

But I've read some recounts of people going there for the same thing and they say, if you want to go to a beautiful place with beautiful scenery, go to Sedona, if you want to find vortex energy, don't go to Sedona. And that the whole thing is just a big tourist attraction. Btw, they also have tons of psychic shops, healers, herbalist, aura readings and that kind of stuff over there for what I found.
