KidEternity
Hey guys, so i was wondering if someone could help me out here. Basically this girl has just txted me asking me out, and I used to go to school with her a few years ago, I liked her back then but I went out with her last year after we met randomly in a bar. Anyway that was pretty awkward and I was positive I didn't like her, but she has kept txting me (periodically keeping up with what I'm doing) and I'm at the stage where I'm actually pretty comfortable being by myself. I'd like to have her as a friend, but in truth i just don't think I'm interested in pursuing a relationship right now (which is a strange thing for me to say). Anyway should I give it a chance and go out with her, or just politely decline and say I'm not interested...?
tanbark813
It depends what you want out of the situation. If you genuinely want to be friends with her then reply with what you said here: I'd like to have her as a friend, but in truth i just don't think I'm interested in pursuing a relationship right now But otherwise I don't understand why you would consider going out with her if you already know you're not interested. fishtaco
Haven't you had an experience where you like some girl, but she's like you're <insert something nice> but... <insert something about friend/brother>? Now it's your chance to use that same exact line on a woman.
