burning 4 revenge
Im trying ot think of a plain jane celebrity, but that almost never happens. Id agree that the media is still a little more sexist in terms of female beauty than male beauty. Even most of the news anchors and political pundits are good looking except for a few venerable old hens

Id agree that the media is still a little more sexist in terms of female beauty than male beauty. Even most of the news anchors and political pundits are good looking except for a few venerable old hens Most of them play supporting roles. Joan Cusack (John's sister) comes to mind as a plain actress.

Theres a good photo of him in there where he has a shadow and almostno make up. I don't think ive seen any other pictures of him without make up taken since the seventies
Storyrider
ehhh.... both of you. No. But there are some female actresses who I probably wouldn't be able to turn down. Like Jessica Alba. And that one who is married to Michael Douglas. And Halle Berry.

blind_otter
Anyone experienced this? Someone who objectively speaking is nothing special to look at, or might even be borderline ugly in conventional terms, but there's something about them that makes you wanna get jiggy with them, to the extent that you'd even pass up a conventional hottie and make a move on this girl (guy) instead. Yes. Not a celebrity. I haven't ever found myself attracted to someone as removed from me as that... I think every man I've ever has a long term relationship with has been like this for me. Objectively speaking, not necessarily the most handsome. Yet I find the defects as endearing as the features that are more towards the end of what is considered traditionally attractive. With each man that I've had a serious relationship with, there's always been a certain unidentifiable quality that made them immensely attractive to me, to the point where I would ignore or even reject other suitors. It's a mysterious quality. Looking back, I can't put my finger on it.
birdmadgirl
I also like Eddie Izzard (with makeup or without). Also, some people find her plain, but I would seriously consider switching teams for Franka Potente.
Nemo
And that one who is married to Michael Douglas. I'd probably do anybody who's Welsh.
Storyrider
I never knew you swung that way I think it is like that thread someone, I think it was Johan, started last year, about how if you go down the list of who you would do, you get to the point where there is someone of the same gender who is more appealing than the alternate choice of the opposite gender. It was phrased more coherently than that.
Nemo
I never knew you swung I don't mean to show it off, but it just happens that way.
