I agree.

I also like,

"Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't - you're right."

What does everyone think about this statment:

"Anything worth doing is worth doing right."

"Right" is probably mis-used as an adverb. I'd prefer to see:

"Anything worth doing is worth doing correctly."

On the whole, I agree with the sentiment. People are too often sloppy in their work.

It's an old saying that originated from the pre-foreplay days. A relic of the past. Although I have still heard of some older models that just jump on top and start humping away. I must admit, I kind of like it when it hurts a little.

On second thoughts, you haven't done it unless you've actually done it. So this statement should be rewritten as a question, thusly:

"Anything worth doing is worth doing, right?"

And the answer is:

"Yes."

I think it means that if you're going to put effort into something to give it your all. Don't be a half-asser. If you're going to be a half-asser then don't bother at all and save your energy for something more worthwhile.

My mom taught me: once a job has begun never leave it till it's done. if the job be big or small do it well or not at all.

I love my mom.

Don't be a half-asser.

I can't agree more with this statement. If you're going to put it half-way in, then it better be because it's so big that it can't go in any further. Satisfaction is all about depth, and teasing is very, very cruel. When it comes to arses, give it everything you've got.

I think the statement has a subject, a predicate and is a complete thought.

In any case, I don't entirely agree with it. While only the insane set out to do something wrong no matter what. I also think sometimes it's actually better if you unknowingly do something wrong. You don't learn anything whatsoever if you do things right all the time.

Yes I agree. There's nothing worse than an ass-tease. :p

Ipanca, were you trying to decipher the statement or see if it was gramatically correct?

:D:D:D Nemo you are way over the top!!

I also agree with the statement (but not for Nemo's reasons... although he does make an interesting point). If you're going to expend energy doing something, you might as well do it right.

Unfortunately, in MY life, that also applies to the mistakes I've made (and continue to make). They tend to be whoppers... because I'm just too stubborn not to take it through to its completion.

The sensible, and definitive, answer.

Maybe it wasn't worth completing. Mind you, if you stop doing something when you are half-way through, then don't act all surprised when somebody else jumps in to take the credit for finishing up.

That statement is stupid.

I do whatever I feel like doing, in whatever way I feel like doing it.

Worth or right don't concern me.

This isn't a grammar problem. Tony T was just being a smart ass.

I was seeing if people agreed with it or not. Some do and some don't.

In retrospect,

If it was worth doing, you did it right.

(If sex is a pain in the ass, you're doing it wrong)
