All the guys I've ever liked have not liked me back - I'm the friend they go out with because we have things in common, like going to see live bands that their girlfriend isn't into, or I'm the friend of the friend they obsess over and really want to date.

 

I always like the ones who don't like me back and the ones I'm not interested have, on a very occassions, liked me. I don't think its the subconscious self-sabotaging theory that psychs put forward.

 

Do men always choose looks over emotional and intellectual compatibility?

 

I'm not ugly - but I'm more janeane garofalo than uma thurman, and in my life, that story doesn't end like it did in the movie.

So, hmmm, anyways, how do you know that ALL the men you liked never liked you back?

 

And how do you know that the occasions when guys are into you are rare occasions?

 

Now, what is your single-and-looking style? Do you tend to focus on one guy at a time, or do you have multiple crushes?

 

And how do you meet men? Are they friends of friends, people you met on-line etc?

 

And last question: how do you put yourself out there?

 

Oh and I think there was an occasion when you posted your pic as an avatar, and yes you are definitely pretty so I am thinking your streak of bad luck is likely cause by your single-and-looking techniques then by your looks.
