cj1988
If you are a man and your sex drive was very strong for years, at what did you find it slowing down? When did a good nights sleep become more of an insterest that making love? How many times a month does the typical married (or living together ) couple over 10 years have sex? Last, does it slow down a little or take a abrupt turn and slow down real fast?
Blue Eyed Brain
These are really good questions. From a woman's stand point: I would say around 38-40, men start to tire. A couple married over 10 years should have sex once or twice a week, but I bet it's more like once a month. I think it slows down gradually instead of an immediate stop. Unless there is something medical or mental involved.

Author cj1988
My friend said her H started to decline at 38, she is 29 is 40 now. I know he loves her and they have a good R, so it is not her, but him winding down etc....they even joke about it. My H started acting this way after I think he had a EA in July 06 to Nov 06, he has not been the same since then. He of course claims he is innocent and my MOUTH (fighting, nagging and arguing and not wanting it for a couple of years, maybe 2 a month for me back then) has made him not want as much either. He was pushy back then and it turned me off and I guess I am now.....I am 41 and ready to go, he is 38......We averaged about 7-9 a month in the last 4 months......I wanted that to double.....I am leaving soon, not because of that, other crap.....my story is on here and it is too much for me ! I just felt it was me he was not attracted to physically, he said it was not my body, face etc......it was the above !

Author cj1988
LOL, that is funny.....his is are still the same. I do think we have just come to that point in our R where it is over and we both feel it in different ways. I love sex, he use to, but when you are hurt by someone, sex can be difficult and the last thing on your mind. I am moving on anyway, so I am sure he will find it again with someone else he does not resent 24/7 as I will as well.

dropdeadlegs
I don't have any answers, but I'm interested in hearing them from men who have been there and actually have answers. We all know about the ages of male and female "primes" and that they don't coincide, yet men can conceive children seemingly forever, while women hit their prime at about the same time that conception rates fall. Interesting, and somewhat mean spirited if planned by a higher power.
JackJack
It will slow down?! I'm 39, will be 40 next month, and it hasn't slowed down for me. Well not yet anyway. Nice passie TBF.
Trialbyfire
Thanks JJ. If you look closely at the expression on the baby's face, you can tell it's supposed to be Touche, not me.

blind_otter
Well, just from observation...my Dad was 50 when I was born. By the time I was aware that my parents had sex I was about 7/8 years old. They would have sex about 3 times a week (they would lock their bedroom door and say they were taking "a nap" - but a few times they forgot to lock the door.....)...I'd say my Dad didn't stop having sex until he was physically unable to do so because he was terminally ill. Prior to that, my parents had an active sex life. And it's horrific that I know this, has scarred me for life, but hey what can you do now.
JackJack
Don't feel bad blind. We went to the beach with my in laws last year, and we stayed in a nice condo. Well my in laws were in the room next to us, and we could hear them. Well my FIL, never heard my MIL. He was grutning like he was doing some hard work and maybe it was at the age! They are both 75. My wife buried her head in the pillow and was laughing and trying not to be grossed out at the same time. I asked her if it made her horny and if she wanted to do it, too, she told me I was sick. Are you serious, or is this just a guess? Surely married couples have sex more often than that.
