Letranger
Does it take cough medicine or other enhancements to lucid dream? When I have flown- I haven't been able to get too high, and it's always a struggle to stay in the air. Maybe I'll have some neo-citran and see what happens tonight. No, I don't use any of that. I think that would interfere. What you do is the following: 1) Throughout the day, ask yourself if you are dreaming. Convince yourself you are not, then think about what you would like to dream about 1A) One way to do this is to read something, look away, then read it again. If it reads the same thing, then most likely you are NOT dreaming. Basically, you are teaching your conscience to recognize the difference between reality and dreaming. 2) Write down time, place, who of what you want to dream about. Remind yourself all day. Especially before you go to bed 3) Some people, when they sleep, listen to soft music and try to pay attention to it as they drift off. Helps for some. You don't want words because you may lose concentration 4) Get PLENTY of sleep. Allow yourself to go into a deep sleep, and its easier if you have much time for sleep and no pressure 5) If you feel yourself waking up from your lucid dream, do the 'spin' move. The spin move is when you hold out your arms (in your dream) straight out and spin around like a top. This has worked for me, but I wonder if its because I think it may work. I wish I had that issue of Omni still
Trialbyfire
I keep having this weird dream about myself posting on a particular site. The main administrator of the site is a short, handsome, Italian guy from Florida. He's very smart and very articulate. But he's also very PC and very militant. He bans and suspends and gives people slaps on the wrists left and right. In my dream I calm him down and show him the error of his ways. After that he thanks me. I teach him that he needs to apply the same tolerance in his real life. He ends up meeting the woman of his dreams and kissing my feet. Of course he invites me to his wedding. I'm on topic, right? Hey, that sounds familiar! I dreamt I went to the wedding but couldn't get in, since I was in the middle of my 10 day suspension.
Trialbyfire
It's ok. I have a feeling I'll be in a 10-day suspension myself. Say hello to Mrs. Tony for me. I do hope that's not going to happen. In my dream, I can't say hello, I'm restricted from responding until someone vets what I say.

Nemo
I had this dream that is kind of a variation on a LS "picture" day, except that everybody decided to use their genitals as an avatar. Yes, that one got pretty hairy before I woke up. I think KMT was complaining about the restriction on animated GIFs, or something.
shadowplay
I once dated a guy who scared the crap out of me because he started howling and screaming these creepy sounds in the middle of the night because he was having a bad dream. I had to shake him awake and he said he was being chased by a clown....lol. That's hilarious. I've been guilty of screaming in my dreams and freaking out bfs.
dropdeadlegs
Assuming I have multiple dreams during any stretch of sleep, I rarely remember them. Only those that are very bizarre, and those seem to occur during short episodes of sleep, like an hour or so. My most vivid dreams are usually during naps. I think I dream in color. It's hard to think of one specifically involving color, but I think I do. If my dreams have meaning, the meaning of those I remember fails (or scares ) me. I do have some dreams where I can't seem to open my eyes. It's like I know I'm dreaming and can't bring myself to consciousness, although I desperately want to. Those happen with fair regularity. Ariadne, any thoughts? (Maybe I feel I "should," or can't open my eyes to something obvious?)

I think it's against the guidelines to dream about anything or anyone LS-related.
