Sometimes I want the other person to know what I want without having to voice it.... so I skirt around the issue with stupid comments or agitated behaviour. I realize it's unrealistic to expect someone to know what you are thinking if you don't tell them. I make it a point in relationships now to improve my communication skills. I mean, I used to give someone the silent treatment and act like a baby because I wanted someone to know what I was thinking/wanting without me having to voice it. I have grown up a lot since then. It certainly avoids silly arguements. what triggers you to do this....... do you think it is more magical if they can guess and be right, like a test of sorts? Are you afraid to confront another person? I have no fear of saying what I mean. I don't fear confrontation or a challenge to my beliefs......... I like to see the other side of things, perhaps I will learn something. Perhaps it will reinforce my own beliefs even more. Is it this PC society they drives people to not say what they mean?
