Seeing a psychologist mean you're a psycho?

No it just means you have problems that are affecting your mental state. No if you were commited to some sort of ward or something to that effect, then yes some may say a person has mental issues. But even that can be fixed.

Someone told me that "all the sane people are in therapy because all of the unstable people won't go." It is to cope with your or other peoples issues. You are not crazy - you are smart.

basically, psychological help is about giving yourself the tools you need to better your life. You wouldn't operate a car for years on end without making sure you have enough fuel to make it run or that the oil's topped off and there's air in the tires, would you? Your psyche needs the same consideration, your physical health, too!

We're all a little psycho.

unfortunately, some of us more than others of us!

Absolutely agree!

And, truth be told, this can vary from day to day (sometimes moment to moment? :o).

It's tough stuff sometimes, being a human bean on this big ole' spinnin' rock...

This is truly an interesting question. My H recently referred to my "mental health" in passing. I honestly don't think he chose those words on purpose, they were just the first ones that came to mind, but I was a bit taken aback. He was referring to the fact that I'm seeing a counselor, etc.
