When it gets really bad

Well I never sent the letter (link copied below, in case need catch up),

I chickened out for a couple of reasons.

1.) I don't want the trouble (I know its bad to say, but the way I feel) I don't want to be the bad person, I don't want people looking down on me.

2.) We had a mutal friend just pass (On the day I was going to send the letter) and I felt like I shouldn't bring it up just yet.

3.) I don't want my H to have to deal with it all over again

 

Then today I received "proof" that he is in fact, the lowest form of male to walk the face of the planet. He "purchases" women.

 

This does two things.

1.) Really, really makes me feel like I have a duty to tell his wife what is going on, he is out of control.

2.) Makes me feel like a total fool/slut/dumb a$$: To think I thought he cared anything about me.

 

I know, morally the right thing to do is to tell the W about all that I know....This is BIG trouble for her, ( I know I shouldn't be worried about her well being, but I am)

but, now I feel even worse for ever being involved....Advice? Encouragement? Something?

 

I figure if I do tell I will wait until end of Feb (this reduces the potential inpact it might have my job, I hope) but everytime I come up with a day I will tell, something happens that makes me not go through with it....

I guess its proof that an affair has many many long term problems to keep going on, even after the affair is over

Hello,

 

You need to tell for at least the following reasons:

1. She has a right to know.

2. If the roles were reversed wouldn't you wish for someone to tell you and stop being made a fool of?

3. If he is purchasing women then you know he is putting his wife at risk big time for STD's.

 

You can redeem yourself somewhat by informing her so she will have the knowledge to at least take precautions for her health.
