wing81 Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 I moved to an new city about 6 months ago and a new coworker has recently moved to the area as well. We both are in a similar situation in terms of not knowing many people and being in a new area. In my opinion, the flirting/teasing has been fairly consistant between us, we pick on each other in a playful manner Whenever a goup of coworkers go to lunch we both end up in the same vehicle and seating either next to or cross from each other. I have tried to position myself where she has to adjust to be close and usually she does. I have found out recently that she asked another cowork if I was interested in her. She broke up with a boyfriend of many years about 2 months ago and told the coworker that she didn't want anything to happen. At the same time, her body language seems to suggest something different. Over the past month we have spent a lot of time together. She has no problem hanging out at my apartment. For example our job occasionally required ackward hours and she had no problem hanging out till 3 am. She also invited me to dinner this past week with a friend passing through town. I was surprised to hear how much they knew about me having not met them before. Either as a close friend or more I would love to spend more time to her. Does anyone have any opinions on how she might be feeling or any additional signs I can look for? Some suggestions on how to proceed would be helpful as well. Link to post Share on other sites
