Music that makes me relive my teenage memories would be "White Snake"

"Warrant" "Skid Row" "G&R" "Poison" ya know the hair bands. I also love "AC/DC" and "Led Zeppelin" and several other metal and hard rock bands. I'll never forget the time when my first love was in a band as a drummer and they played "Misty Mountain Hop" I requested a LZ song and that is what they played. LOVE that song! So every time I hear that song it brings me back to that night. Those were my "OW" days.

THUNDER!!! ;)

My 12 yo daughter loves that song.

My kids got the GH game too. Awesome songs! I haven't had the chance to play it though. H has played a few times. When my 14 yo plays it he does an awesome job.

Looks like I need to take some time away from LS, housework, and tv to check this game out.

What I REALLY want is a Wii. We have been looking all over for it. Even my MIL who lives in AZ has been trying to find it for us. As soon as it hits the shelves it's gone.

Which one do you have? We have 3.

We have Guitar Hero 3 too...

We rented the 80's one but we didn't have it that long so we didn't have that many songs...I've played it before but the first time I was so bad I only hit like 4 notes TOTAL...

I was just bad!!!! It takes practice and then it's about as addictive as LS!

Have you tried Best Buy for the Wii? One of my friends got one from there and it was a pretty cheap price only 250 for the system and one controller...

My uni sweetheart was French - Algerian. He used to sing at discos back then when he wasn't studying archaeology. No one sang "Ne me quitte pas" better than he did..except Brel himself. Think I'll cry, too.

Marlena! He sounds very sexy...Is he today an archaeologist (btw, I am on the Give-Back-The-Elgin-Marbles side!) or is he a crooner back in Algiers?

PS I love the music of Eleftheria Arvanitaki. Saw her in NYC ages ago...I have never seen a crowd go so wild. There is no such thing as a "bad night" out in Greece, no matter where your "Greece" is...

"Oh hello, purple twins!"

OMFG!! Lizzie! Love the twins. But why purple?

If I survive all this stuff, can I take your pic to the plastic surgeon and say, 'I want a pair of those?' LOL.

Oh, OE, was he ever!!! Especially when he sang French songs - Aznavour, Brel, Macias- there wasn't a woman who didn't swoon at his feet. But he was true blue to yours sincerely for five long, wonderful years.

Today he is an accomplished and much respected in his field archaeologist living in Southern France. Married with three beautiful children (Ah! Tant pis pour moi!).

I feel so excited that someone on LS knows Arvanitaki. She's awesome. A voice like no other. And yes, a Greek night out, wherever that may be, is, like you said, always wild and great fun. People really do know how to celebrate life here.

And so do the Italians. We do live in beautiful countries with beautiful people. No doubt. Lucky us!

Marlena
