She said that she had been asked out since then by 6 guys and that she had said no "the reason i broke up with Antony is because i dont want a relationship at the moment" also some guys tried to ask her out i found out a few days ago and she said " you know i will aways love Antony"? We had a relationship for 2.5 years & she would do anything for me and was so sweet and kind and everytime we had a fight she would come back to me... She did too many things for my she was like a wife for me and she loved it wen i called her "wifey" and she wanted to get married. I am 21 and she is 17, all of a sudden this changed 2 months ago after we had an argument. She just told me not to call her and she didnt want a relationship. I was devistated throwing up etc u can imagine, those f u who have truely loved. Anywayz she wants to be my best friend? she calls me but she has to go quickly sometimes and its as if i aint really important? Well i know she still loves me but i think its party to do with her immature school friends and her parents whom dont like me because i am italian and not serbian or something like that. But she calls me as 6 am to say " i just thought i would call to say hi" and she calls me before she goes to bed etc...I really love her and it is so hard just to be her friend, it really hurts me. She said to me that mayeb we could be together in the future but at the moment she doesnt want a relationship. I tried to block her out but i cant i just wait for her to call all the time like a wimp, i dont know she really does have my heart and i cant not talk to her. She does want to see me and she invited me over a few times. The first time she couldnt control herself and we made love and kissed, but she then said "this doesnt mean we are goin out". Then the second time it started the same way but she couldnt look me in the eyes and she said, i cant do this... I have noticed wen i dont talk to her for a while she gets ancious and i have even noticed that she ask's (interigates me) about where i have been and what i have been doing. I dont know what to do should i just be best friends, bite my lip and slowly try and get my relationship back or is this going to hurt me too much? If it is the best option then how can i get her back? The first thing you need to do is to find out exactly why she doesn't want a relationship with you anymore. The only way you can find that out is to ask her - I can only speculate. Why would she need space? Space for what? Does she just want a "guyfriend" that will come when called and stay away otherwise? She may just need a month to think - but don't wait around too long for her. Since she is 17, I am assuming she still lives with her parents. Are they possibly forbidding her to see you? If so, then I suppose you need to back off a little until she is an adult and a little more independent. The legal age for sexual consent (unless it has changed) is 18. Is she planning on going away to college? Maybe it would be easier for her to leave if she doesn't have any attachments to a boyfriend. Also, she is approaching the age where young people are supposed to date around and see what else is out there. If this is the case, then I would suggest moving on and finding somebody a little older who has been there, done that. Link to post Share on other sites
