I am looking for FUN exersice to do with my son. Will riding a bicycle help me loose some inches and weight? also how long of a bikie ride? like 45 min or so? my goal is to get to my pre pregnancy wieght like 130. Thank you! bobthewhaler Posted June 30, 2003 Share Posted June 30, 2003 im no doctor, but u might want to look into the atkins diet. my dad lost 30 pounds that he had for years, and i just started myself. then again, im a guy, and i was eating steak every night anyway, but check out http://www.atkins.com for more info about the diet. and ya, they proscribe moderate excercise too, but before bike-riding, i would say walking. walking is what your body was designed for, and make sure you ease into it. good luck Link to post Share on other sites
