My GF and her EX

Right now I'm not sure if I have a right to feel this way or if I'm just jealous... but I feel kinda like I'm being lied to.

My GF of 4 months still talks to her EX (not that I really care). She says that they were friends all thru highschool (she's 27), and that they should'nt of had a romantic relationship that lasted a year (last year), because they knew that they weren't really meant for each other. She says she has this bond with her because they both had similar bad childhoods, which both of them were raped and treated very poorly. So that's the reason why they still keep in close contact.

But.. the 1st thing that made me think twice about their actual relationship is when her EX called at 2 and 3 in the morning a few nights ago... my GF said that her ex needed someone to "vent to about her GF".

Okay, why would she need to call her at my apartment at 3 in the Goddamn morning just to "vent"?? My GF swears nothing is going on.

Then, last night, I took off of work just to be able for her to stay the night with me, just to let her know that she means so much to me that I'd do practically ANYTHING for her..

Then at 2am, once again, her EX called saying that she was in jail for DUI. Well, my GF jumps out of bed and is frantically asking her if she could come down to the jail and see her... and she's even crying about it like it was me in jail. She left me just to go "search for her EX's lawyer papers" which also means that she still has a key to her apartment. She even told her "I love you" before she hung up from talking to her. Me being in the law enforcement field, I know that a damn lawyer isn't gonna do a damn thing about a DUI at 3 in the morning... it all happens the next business day.

She called me earlier today asking me if I could go to her apartment to feed her pet; she was still at her EX's apartment waiting on more of her phone calls to her landline. Ha.

But.. what I don't get is.. she tells me all these things about her EX putting her out last year in the street and calling her all these nasty names, and lying to her, but at a drop of the hat, she's back over there when her EX tells her to jump.

But in reality, I'm the one that feels neglected..
