Horoscopes

Recommended Posts

Horoscopes are designed to be vague. Here's an experiment: Follow a different horoscope sign for a while, watch as it still applies.

Your sign is supposed to be dependent upon the alignment of the planets and the gravitational pull that they exhibit upon you at birth. Here's the catch: The doctor that delivered you had more of gravitational pull on you than the planets did. So does having a fat doctor change your sign?

I have always been skeptical, but I am almost exactly a classic Aquarius and I sure have had problems with people whose astrological signs are not supposed to be compatible with mine. Yep, it's anecdotal and yep, 'gravity' seems to make no sense (actually, personality differences due to time of year could have other causes; availability of types of foods, etc.) but I do pay attention to astrology at least a bit because it seems to have some validity in my life. And no, it's not a question of preconception since I'll find out a person's sign AFTER I find out if we get along or not.

I believe in the personality traits of horoscopes but not the daily or weekly horoscopes. Also, I think it's important to consider the rising sign as well as the sun sign. My sun sign is Cancer and rising sign is Sagitarius. It makes a lot more sense when I read about both signs because I can see alot of myself in both, even though they are not what they consider to be compatible signs. So you can't determine if two people are going to be compatible based solely on their sun signs. You need to take rising signs into account also.

But you still have to take this all with a grain of salt. I think the Myers-Brigg personality test is as good and probably better than astrology in figuring out compatibility and personality.

I believe that the whole horoscope signs, etc. are based on what you want them to be based on.. Back in time when the Egyptians, etc. were learning new skills, etc. there came a thing called horoscopes.. and the whole signs... and ones future, soul mate(s), etc. could either break or make ones life stay in tact.

Do I read my horoscopical message?? Yea, doesn't everyone... The thing though with reading them is how you want to take/inherit each message.... One shouldn't feed their horoscope as like it is a clone to something that must be done, felt, etc. or else one will/could die..

I read my message in lue of what does fit me, into what could make sense if ever possible..

"Fate" is what, in my opinion brings ones soul mates, future, etc. in line... Not some type of horoscopical message.. that someone has written.... based on what they feel is right to pronounce.
