I find myself attracted to this person, but I don't think anything will ever come of it. I've never asked her directly to go out but I'm not sure if she would go out with me. We are in school together and its hard to ignore her as a result. Maybe she's just doing this for attention. Its been going on for months now. Outside of class we have no contact. In general she likes to meet with people and is social, but as far as I know she doesn't flirt with any one else in my class. How do I get a flirter like this out of my mind? I'd like to consider other girls but there's not any other prospective girls that I'm interested in. Link to post Share on other sites
norajane Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 1. Do NOT take her flirting seriously. She's flirting for fun and attention, so for you to take it seriously would be a mistake. 2. Consider the flirtation as entertainment only. There is a difference between flirting for fun and flirting with intent. Lots of people flirt for fun because, well, it's fun. 3. Feel flattered if you must, but use the flirtation only as practice for when you meet someone whom you can take seriously. Link to post Share on other sites
