Pyro
I don't think I have a certain type I attract. Ask me in about 10 years and I may know The entire LS male population?
Angels&Airwaves
She's no Hayley Williams.
Citizen Erased
The entire LS male population? Flattery will get you far with me
Pyro
She's no Hayley Williams. She is more of an Avril. Hayley is nice as well.
Storyrider
Not sure what the common denominator is. Intelligence maybe. Like TBF, I dated one air-head. It was basically to make someone else jealous. It didn't work at all. My air-head drove the floor-polishing machine at the local grocery store, on the night shift. Oh, but TBF, you might have liked him for the following reason: He liked to renovate cars, and he had a BMW 2002 and a Karmannghia (spell-check says that is the right spelling?). I was completely unappreciative of this, so I hope by now he's found someone better suited to his quirks.
Mustang Sally
Karmannghia Wow. I hadn't thought of those cars in a LONG time, Story. I used to want one really, really bad. But I got a Mustang instead. I tend to attract those that like old cars...
Storyrider
Wow. I hadn't thought of those cars in a LONG time, Story. I used to want one really, really bad. But I got a Mustang instead. I tend to attract those that like old cars... It was a really cute little car. And this guy had a James Dean look going, of a sort. He had a drawer full of white t-shirts, and a drawer full of jeans. That was it!!! He was pretty--but his charm ended there.
Trialbyfire
You were close Story. Karmann Ghia, the ultimate in lemon-looking car body styling. He drove a bimmer? A man after my own heart. On the otherhand, if he was solely fluff and stuff upstairs, not interested. My particular dipsy-doodle guy was a back-up quarterback. He most certainly talked and more importantly ate like it. Copious amounts of food were inhaled at a phenomonal rate. I kept watching for spray, waiting to duck, if necessary.
Jade 02
I always get the drunks, and drug addicts that are bikers,or mechanics or construction workers.(at least 10 years older). Time to get me a nerd!!!! Cuz I am growing out of that other crap.
monkey00
I've noticed the type of girls I attract are usually short cute girls or nice girls who are semi-geek at heart looking for some kind of short-term/long term relationship. I guess that's good in a way because I like sweet down to earth girls, even if they look average.
Lunar Sonata
Women of varying looks and personalities. They all have one thing in common, though. They come around when I'm feeling happy being by myself. Somehow they have that radar of wanting to fudge that up.
City_girl
I am slim, attractive, warm eathy type. I'm a Romany Gypsy, hot blooded, sensual. I am absolutely poor lol, have a couple of jobs to pay the bills but am academic. I attract, cold , emotionally distant men who are successful and rich but not generous? weird!! they used to be good looking but now only average looking men approach me?
audrey_1
I usually attract men who are average or taller in stature, usually very intelligent and funny, but with a tendency to be introverted in many situations i.e., they're open with me, and I don't notice their shyness until we're in public and they snap shut like a hinged door. I usually attract men who are reluctant to commit. Lately, I've attracted married men, but that's probably because I'm getting older, and a lot of my friends/people I'm around are married. Kamille
Now that I think about it, my luck has changed: I have always attracted nerds (I am a very vibrant nerd magnet), had a stint when I seemed to only attract musicians and poor struggling artists (ah, how I loved my poor struggling artists) but now I seem to attract the mature version of nerds; ie, academics. ah, how I love my brainiac academics. OpenBook
Guys who are attracted to me usually have big wide teeth, big smile, outgoing and friendly, "everybody's buddy" types. I don't understand about the teeth.
Saxis
I think I'm in the same boat as Gold Pile, and also 5'8" and pretty trim. Usually it's the girls I'm not attracted to, and it probably has mostly to do with my personality. I'm not as tense around girls I'm not attracted to and exude more of myself, thus drawing them in I guess. I have no idea though, because I've been told I'm about 95% oblivious when it happens. pandagirl
I either attract smart, creative guys, who do computer stuff for a living (HOT!). Or dirty, indie musicians type. When I was younger I was all about the dirty indie guy, but now that I'm older I am swooning at the brainy, creative, academic types.
fral945
Two kinds, one I like & the other I don't: 1) Fat, overly emotional redheads that talk alot. The last girl I dated was kind of like this. She started talking on the phone and I think talked for 15 straight minutes without talking a breath. 2) Girls that are 5'2" or shorter (I'm 5'9", for what it's worth) with green eyes and light brown/blonde hair. Short, "cute" girls seem to like me, maybe because I'm "cute" as they say. I don't know why, I think maybe we're wired to find certain traits attractive.
KidEternity
Women of varying looks and personalities. They all have one thing in common, though. They come around when I'm feeling happy being by myself. Somehow they have that radar of wanting to fudge that up. You know that is happening to me right now! Finally happy being alone and bam! A stream of ladies seeming to be interested! They must have some sort of sensors, or maybe we are just radiating confidence, who knows? I would say I attract a variety of women, mostly the girls I have been out with are the sweet, girl next door kind of girls, when I'm out in Clubs it tends to be the slutty type of girls coming on to me...I wouldn't say there is one type of women that I'm attracted to, or that are attracted to me. I'd say there is a big variety and thats always good
Saxis
One other thing: I recently noticed that I seem to attract the women that want to be baby factories, having as many kids as they possibly can. No thanks...
Trialbyfire
Does it matter who you attract? Seems to me what matters more, is who you have chemistry with. You can attract a boatload of incompatibles, so what? It's all moot.
Blackfrost
I have always (i've given up trying to figure out why) attracted women who want to immediately lock me into a full blown "you are mine and mine only" relationship within the first three dates, and then start getting insanely paranoid that i'm not as obsessed about them as they are about me. This happened to me so many times.... that I finally gave up dating (and I actually really enjoyed dating, meeting lots of new people, and learning about their lives) and finally married one of them. Still married to her, a decade later.......and she's still all over me all the time. Weird. I feel like our roles are switched in a way, because I usually am the one who always says "not tonight, I am completely exausted from work." And I'm not bragging about this by any means: I'm usually completely fried from work on most evenings, and just want to sit and veg with my hobbies.
D-Lish
The last 5 years I have attracted youngins. 21-23 years olds. It's been my Mr's Robinson phase. I am guilty of choosing to participate sometimes when the mood strikes- but it's the young boys that approach me on dating sites or in public.
audrey_1
Okay, while Matthew McConnaghey (sp, who cares, lol) is pretty to look at, he doesn't have the Harvard brains that Matt Damon does. Smart guys are way more sexy. Yes, definitely.
monkey5
For my looks: Preppy/Athletic/Tall guys. (I'm 5'7.5'') For my brain: mainly creative, intelligent types.
