I would say that having already assumed room temperature would likely be considered too old but anything short of that would seem to me to be a personal choice and preference. It was one fun evening. While age is number that can't be 100% ignored, it is less important (when it comes to sex) than the person's health, appearance, and sex appeal. How many 20 year old men would kick Pam Anderson out of bed? How many 40 year old women would kick Harrison Ford out? My response is about age and sex, not about age and a long term relationship. Even with Viagra he couldn't get it up, had diabetes, prostate problems etc. But he is nice tough, I'm still in touch with him. He didn't have any skills, had a micro penis (and didn't know how to use it) and to top it all off, he erectile disfuction due to too much drug usage when he was young. But make the woman older than that and I fear that I would be sorely tempted by 50 year old spring chickens. Twice I have had partners that were 7 years older. EDIT: Not unlike a certain biblical passage, I have asked myself repeatedly if being together for X amount of years, before fate separates us, would make the relationship worth embarking on.
