Thank you for your advice. Your message made a lot of sense to me and cleared up a lot. If all I can be is his friend, then that's fine. That's what I'll concentrate on. I don't want to jeapordize his relationship with his kids. I care about him too much and I can probably nip this thing in the bud - so to speak - before it gets out of control.
