twice_shy
What would you do if you and your SO went out to a club, and your SO went out to dance with their friends, and later on you check the dancefloor and they are basically simulating sex with someone else? Would ya say something? Would you go out on the dancefloor and make your precense known? Or are you the type of person that doesn't care if your SO is bumping uglies with someone on the floor? rainfall
I would probably go and slap my bf and dump a drink on whoever he was dancing with. Then tell him to give me his key and he could pick up his stuff in the morning. Edited March 14, 2008 by rainfall
NotMyselfNEmore
Tee hee... I might be childish but I would "pay back". Then, when he gets upset I'll tell him "oh, I'm sorry! I thought you didn't mind me doing it". Turn around is fair play!
carhill
I know this woman! She danced with me at my wedding reception and she was not my wife! Of course, I also remember my wife's story about the Brazilian guy she and her girlfriends danced with at a club in SF while we were dating. I guess he was "down to there" They took turns confirming Weird world!

xpaperxcutx
I would just get on the dance floor myself, push the other person out of the way, and grind with my SO. Make it known that you're attracted to her, and would compete for her affection.

Citizen Erased
It would just be not on in my books. The only person who gets grinding privileges with my bf is me

I'd say it depends on what rules and standards were established in that relationship.
AussieJack
What would you do if you and your SO went out to a club, and your SO went out to dance with their friends, and later on you check the dancefloor and they are basically simulating sex with someone else? AussieJack's Rule #7 for relationships. " If his/her behavior is NOT ok with you ,then that behavior is NOT ok." Don't compete, don't whine or throw a hissy fit - just walk away without saying ONE word. Only consider a reconciliation if they come to you bent over backwards in regret and remorse and pleading for another chance . Then you need to put them on probation for a few months under the " one strike you're out " clause. It is that simple.
mark982
to me that would be a deal breaker. as i'm old fashioned about relationships.
Author twice_shy
I would just get on the dance floor myself, push the other person out of the way, and grind with my SO. Make it known that you're attracted to her, and would compete for her affection. If I have to "compete" for affection by simulating sex on the dancefloor, then she isn't anyone I'd want to be associated with. by the way, what would SHE be doing to compete for mine? What is this notion that we have to fight tooth and nail to keep a SO from doing something inappropriate with someone else?

And when she saw me leaving she chased me down. I simply told her it was over and she said, "it was just dancing". To which I said, "no, it wasn't. Goodbye". Now this was years ago right out of college. But it was a question I was asked recently with a group of friends. We all agreed, it is showing major disrespect to your SO to rub your crotch all over someone else.
