Do atheists or people with the "wrong" religion go to Heaven?

I commend you on your superior knowledge. You have obtained what no man has ever...you must have visited all of the corners of space and time to be able to say so confidently that God and Heaven do not exist.

Look, don't believe in God if that's what you wish to do. The burden of proof is on you. You can't prove He doesn't exist, and even if we could give you tangible proof, you'd dismiss it right away anyways.....so what's the point???

 

Tell me this.....do you think your brain and mind are one and the same? Because you can hold a brain in your hands, weigh it, you have tangible evidence, but......can you do so with your mind? Then how do you prove you have one......?

Let me step in and take a crack at explaining it.

 

There is no proof of God truly existing. Believing in God takes blind faith. Sure it sounds crazy, but I have faith and thats all that matters.

 

God wants us all to believe in him, but he is not going to make it easy for us due to the original sin. If you want to believe in God and have the everlasting life, you have to work for it, meaning take that leap of having blind faith.

We are all entitled to our opinions. I'm not going to sit here and try to explain to you why I believe that he exists. We all have the freewill to believe or do what we want.

 

For the record, I don't belong to a religion. I don't believe in organized religion.

I agree. This is a sensitive subject for some and generally speaking, some people don't like to be told that they are disagreed with. Another example of how people aren't tolerant of others beliefs.

Society has silenced religion almost to the point of total extermination.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! If this is true then why then are there so many religious TV and radio stations? Why was there such a huge fuss when one US senator or congressman publicly declared his atheism? Why does the current president publicly declare his faith at every opportunity and even admit that God dictates foreign policy to him? Why do news stations like CNN run stories on why atheists are the most hated minority group in America, then invite 3 religious panelists onto the show to explain why they all think atheists should shut up? I think you have an extremely skewed perception of society.

All that's left for the world to do is line up the few remaining and pull the trigger.

I thought you went by the Commandments. Is "thou shall not have pride" a biblical sin
