gogirl
I met a man at an event I was modeling in and he sat with my family. They loved him, he is very personable and entertaining. He looks to be mid-40's, yet he is 51. I am 33. He asked me out before he left for vacation 3 weeks ago and even though I am being actively patient for him to contact me since he just returned last Friday, I will be going out with him. Some of my friends say he is too old, but I don't feel the same. What do you think?
longlegzs80
Of course your friends are going to say he is tooo old for you. If I were you, I would get to know him and if things click, then great, not like your getting married. I have somewhat of a similar story but it pertains with my mom. My mom who is currently 49 married my father who I have not seen over 18yrs who is 60yrs old. Now, that is an age difference and what your getting yourself into is an age difference. But if he treats you well, and things click, then who cares about the age or what anyone says about it. If he makes you happy and you like his company then keep doing what your doing. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
Angel
Obviously there is no right/wrong answer to this one. Just personally speaking (I am a young looking/feeling 49)---your man is too old for me!!!! That was a tongue-in-cheek answer, but the age difference might matter in 10 years. You'll be 44 and he'll be in his sixties. When I was 44 there would be no way in hell I'd date a sixty year old! (And, I know there are exceptions to this; but why take a chance with your life?) Hope this gives you a little more perspective with which to make your decision.
