What kind of personality are you looking for? I usually go for taller, dark haired, average/athletic, brainy types. They do exist. And they have to be able to carry on a conversation about some current events, have a reasonable interest in sports --not just football -- have an eclectic taste in music, somewhat of an appreciation for art. As far as hygiene, I don't want a gorilla, but some chest hair is okay, tidy nether regions, but I'm not crazy about beards. Brush their teeth and bathe regularly. He also has to be confident in himself, because women are emotional creatures and we would like to be assured that the male has at least his emotional baggage in check. I can't emphasize that men should be able to take care of themselves. If women have to waste time and money on our physical attributes, it should at least be expected of the men to take of their hygienes. And hair is a no-no. Scientific study has shown that women tend to be attracted to tall guys. Conventional wisdom has shown that women tend to be attracted to men that are doing well financially. Not always, I personally know a woman that isn't attracted to money (but she likes tall guys), and the men don't have to be the tallest or the richest, but those do usually count as significant good qualities. But one of the most useless answers you'll get is ask women what they want in a man. The list they give you is ONLY the optional secondary list. Once the man qualifies due to a "mystery quality", then it'll be even better if they have qualities from the secondary list. But it's optional. Hence you'll see your female friends date someone that's completely different from the list, or meet someone that's a perfect match, but they "don't feel the chemistry." As to what the mystery quality is, they don't list it because they don't know. I used to think playas would know. But after talking to them, they can do it because it comes naturally to them, but they don't really know how it works. It's like asking a lottery winner "how did you do it?". The procedure of purchasing the lottery ticket they give you most likely won't yield the same result for you. So maybe, no one knows. It'll remain a great mystery. Link to post Share on other sites

The basics would be 1) Good hygiene 2) Try to be in the best health you can 3) Be confident to be yourself with no apologies and have a pasion for life 4) Enjoy things... yeah them be the basics... Yeah, I don't think there is any specific set of traits that women want, obviously some sort of intelligence, hygeine, life skills & confidence need to be in place, but different women, want different things (I assume) and it is the same for what guys want. We don't all want a trophy porn star type wife, and in contrast not all women want a rich guy that drives a Mercedes. Personality wise I go for funny, smart, honest...and well rounded. I like it when guys are into guy things like sports and cars, but I also like a man who can cook. I don't necessarily want a rich guy, but at age 25, I do need a man who is employed....lives on his own....and has a vehicle...doesn't have to be a bmw but it does need to be properly registered and insured. You probably have great qualities and need to show them to the women you are attracted to. I, personally, like: 1. Great Hygiene and Well Groomed (shaven, not hairy at all, full head of hair) 2. Attractive body (not body builder, but not a mess either) Most body types will do. 3. Excellent sense of humor; well diversed and can carry an intelligent conversation for over an hour (not many fall into this category) 4. Someone who has been hurt (I think there's more room in a broken heart). I like the vulnerability of a person that has committed to a relationship. They will understand me, better. 5.
