In long distance, you have decide early on if you are interested in pursing a serious relationship with that person - if you just want to have a good time, forget it, long distance is NOT fun. After that, will you be prepared to have to spend a lot of time away from that person, have to get to know them via phone and emails, see them maybe once or twice a month? Have a physical relationship (whatever that entails for you) one or twice a month? Would you consider moving closer to them? Are you the time of person that can be by yourself, won't be tempted to be with someone else because its easier and convenient? Think carefully about it before you jump into it, because anyone in a LDR will tell you that its tough beyond what I could possibly tell you in a post. But if you are committed it can work. However, there is no shame in saying its not for you. I personally hate it, so I don't blame anyone for not wanting to do it. Link to post Share on other sites
