Way too much time on my hands...lol SO he leaves on the 30th gets here on the 31st and returns on the 16th of June. SO we have 17 wonderful days together. I get 10 of those days off work. I know I can understand his dad because I've talked to him on the phone before, I'm just worried about his momma. I can only understand/speak a few words in french and none of them are conversational. Unless I'd have terrets and then I guess screaming the word kitten every 30 seconds would be acceptable. I left June 11 last year and haven't seen him or any of my UK mates since (except over cam/video calling). I'm really, really, really nervous! I was in a depression last time I was over... Back in Australia the sun and tropical fruits and my other mates have done me some good (after the initial six months of hell). What if I get back and he don't like me as me, or he thinks I'm fat or something? Or the swine flu pandemic gets seriously out of hand (and I get stuck there or here...)? Leaving again is going to be so hard, but at least this time I know I'm going to see him again. And not just on the advice of Heathrow staff. Link to post Share on other sites

Awwww, it's the same thing with my boyfriend and my mom because she doesn't really speak english. They haven't met yet but I'm sure everthing is going to be fine! From what I hear it's enough to answer the telephone. Which would be something like "Hello" and "Hold On". His dad doesn't speak it that well, but I can and have held a conversation with him. We're going out to dinner with them on that Thursday after I get there, and they're traveling like 700 miles to be there. It would be a shame if they felt like they wasted their time cause I was an idiot. Ugh. Can't everyone in the world just speak English and make it easier on meeeee?
