Leaving is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But it's the first time I've ever left him. Before it's always been him. And getting emails on my blackberry from him when I got back into the states just tore my heart out. I wanted to go back right then.

I think I'm just mostly worried that we're taking our visits for granted. Everytime we do we say that we're going to take lots of pictures. Well I did this last trip, but there were none of he and I. That part breaks my heart. We only have 2 visits left until he starts his coop. He's now talking about working with that company until we get married next June, which would mean that if he gets to visit me at all, it'll only be for like 2 or 3 days. That's better than nothing, but I know that when we're going through the immigration stuff that we'll be stressed and just want to be with each other.

So next visit, I'm making a vow to take a ton of pictures of him and I. You all have been told, so get on me about it when he's back here. It seems so small and trivial, but when I wont be able to see him for such a long period of time I think it would be nice for us to be able to have something to look at as a reminder.

Less than a month to go. No exact date yet.

I made the same pledge. So when I went there for our wedding -- we took 2900 pictures in 3 weeks. Most of them were one or the two of us.

Then my camera got stolen at the airport as I was leaving.

My wedding pictures were on there.

But you'll have better luck than I do Rollercoasterr. ;)

Your wedding pictures were stolen! :( That's terrible!

Well, not that makes it any easier, but at least you two have a beautiful love story that we all look up too!

I think that when he gets here you guys should have a big ole' party to celebrate and have it be sort of like a little wedding reception for your friends that couldn't attend. That way you can kind of reclaim those lost wedding pictures. It wont be AS good, but it is still celebrating your marriage.

I want to do this whenever Mathew can return to Canada after we're married. I'm not sure that his grandparents will be able to attend, so I'd like to have a party up there for them. It's his wedding too, you know. :)

I know!! And that is one thing about digital technology. If we had been using the old cameras I'd have had a suitcase full of film.

Awww. Thank you.

That has always been the plan - but as the wedding grows more distant it seems that we will have a celebration of him finally being here and the beginning of our new life.

That is sweet Rollercoasterr! I am sure his family and friends up in the North would definitely appreciate that. ;)

In my case, his family were all there and my brother went.

My mom was the only person missing from my family but it wasn't that she couldn't be there so there will be no special celebration to include her.

Just the friends.

So back to the countdown again. I should be seeing him in approximately 157 days. I have a tonne of stuff to keep me busy with the immigration documents to prepare and he planted me a vegetable garden to take care of. Tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and carrots.

I feel horrible today:(

16 days 19 hours according to my countdown page.

I also have to write 2 papers, take 4 quizzes, and work 96 or so more hours before I leave. *sigh*

Is it July 3rd yet? And can my papers and quizzes take care of themselves?! :bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny:

He's excited!!! Which makes me really happy and even more excited!! I don't think he realizes how much international travel can take out of a person though. This is his first trans-atlantic flight, and he's acting like it'lll just be a quick bus ride or something haha. so I don't expect too much when I see him on Friday night 'cause it'll be his 3am, plus all of the airport business.

Now if Thursday would just move out of my way, that would be GREAT! :bunny:

I think the worst part about my trip to visit him was the airport crap. When I landed in montreal I thought it would be a smooth process. Pfft. I had to walk about 2 miles to get to the border, stand in line with about 100 other people(or more), go through the border, get my bags, and THEN go find him. The whole time I was about to pee on myself because he was just beyond the glass! It felt like torture to know that he was so close but to still have to go through so much stuff before being able to see him. I think that Montreal's airport took more out of me than the flight did. I was dog tired afterwards.

But I regained my energy quickly ;)

I'll find out today exactly how many days for my countdown, but it's less than a month away!

hahaha wowww! sounds worse than Chinese water torture! Glad you get to see him again soon!!

I'll meet my guy in about 27.5 hours, aka tomorrow night! But he's not online right now to be :bunny: with me. I'm sure he's probably packing or hangin' out with friends before he goes, but he didn't e-mail me back either, which makes me a little nervous. I know everything's just fine, but I wish he was online to help me calm my nerves!
