Maggs
I think the worst part about my trip to visit him was the airport crap. When I landed in montreal I thought it would be a smooth process. Pfft. I had to walk about 2 miles to get to the border, stand in line with about 100 other people(or more), go through the border, get my bags, and THEN go find him. The whole time I was about to pee on myself because he was just beyond the glass! It felt like torture to know that he was so close but to still have to go through so much stuff before being able to see him. I think that Montreal's airport took more out of me than the flight did. I was dog tired afterwards. But I regained my energy quickly I'll find out today exactly how many days for my countdown, but it's less than a month away! Isn't Montreal airport crap! When I came back from the UK in March, I was diverted from Heathrow to Montreal before flying to my final destination and I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find where I needed to go. And I even speak a little French and still couldn't get in the right lines!
Mei Mei
Will meet my So on 15th August. So excited to face the countdown together everyday. But underlying I am still anxious about travelling by plane, the long lasting phobia. Oh, I hope my strength for the love can help me overcome the long travel from pacific to atlantic. Please give me your support dear guys.
Xelha
I have to wait until the 4th of August. After that meeting we'll have to wait a long time(maybe 7 months) before seeing each other again.. =/ It seems like we have to wait longer and longer each time, hope it works out in the end. Rollercoasterr
Isn't Montreal airport crap! When I came back from the UK in March, I was diverted from Heathrow to Montreal before flying to my final destination and I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find where I needed to go. And I even speak a little French and still couldn't get in the right lines! I got off my plane and had to walk what seemed like forever in a circle to get to the border. I mean really, I was already IN Canada, so I don't understand all the hoopla they put you through to get to the other side. What were they gonna do? Spank me and take away my birthday? When I went on that trip my family and friends kept warning me about Chicago O'Hara, but I swear Montreals airport makes Chicago look like a kitten. Chicago might have about 15 gates per letter, but at least it's more navigable. You got lucky, I speak NO french whatsoever. I didn't have too much trouble, but there were times where I had to deal with the grumpy french canadian that didn't want to help. Others were so so helpful. Like the little guy that welcomes you to Canada. He looked at my declaration card to see where I was from so he would know to speak english or french. I thought that was adorable. Rollercoasterr
Well...he's not coming for my birthday. Plane tickets are way too expensive for the amount of time he'd be here(3 days at $600). We need a wedding more than anything, so we're just going to use that money for immigration and wedding stuff. But he'll still be here in August for about a month. Too bad he'll be giving a ride to some girl that's meeting a guy for the first time. Chick has a boyfriend, yet she feels the need to meet other guys. I trust him completely, so I'm not jealous(she's an idiot), but I'm just worried about the fact that if something we're to happen to her, he would get blamed because he dropped her off, and that it would affect us with immigration. We need to be walking on egg shells, and I'm really not liking this idea. I left the decision up to him, though!

He's probably just thinking he's being nice and helping someone out, but if you raised the point to him, I'm sure he'll realise it's not a good idea to risk anything. Goodluck though! Brought it up to him...he's just too nice of a guy, I think. The boyfriend doesn't even want her to go as far as I know. Maybe things will change before the time comes, but I think he just has a hard time telling people no. That, and she's offering to pay for gas. It's not her I'm worried about, it's that I'm worried something will happen to her and that it'll ruin all of our hard work. Ugh. I give up on it. I'm not going to worry. Bearandsue
Im sure everything will work out fine rollercoaster. All he is doing is dropping her off. He cannot be blamed for that. 147 days to go...Just gotta get through summer.
